Fp to Isle of Quel'sDanas before going to the ghostlands

I don’t get this. if on the lower half of the eastern kingdoms to get to the ghostlands you have on a FP fly to the isles of Quel’Danas 1st. Normally I go to the eastern plaguelands before going to the ghostlands. I get there is a warp instance from IF but still it goes to the isles instead of the ghostlands which is where I am going, espesally for the midsummer fires.
I personally think the FP need another revamp for Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.

Does this always happen? You always fly through Quel’Danas and loop back to Ghostlands? On Alliance characters or both? Or are you saying you need to get the flight point in Quel’Danas?

I need to test this.

It’s been a long time, but as I recall the teleport to Quel’Danas was added as a shortcut for Alliance players wanting to get to the Isle quickly for their dailies without first going to Shattrath. It remains that way because there wasn’t ever a reason to change it.

What really needs to happen is for Blizzard to extract Eversong+Ghostlands from the Outland map/server (where it currently resides) and properly integrate it with Eastern Kingdoms so there’s no instance portal between EPL and Ghostlands, and swimming around the continent puts you on the beaches of Ghostland or Eversong. The only reason it was put on the Outland map was as an easy way to keep people who hadn’t bought TBC out of the area, but that hasn’t been relevant in over a decade.

i was heading to the ghostlands for either the raid or doing world holiday events like midsummer and it always takes me to the Quel’Danas 1st…thats too far north than where i wanted to go. plus in norhtrend i was at k3 and i want to go to the western side of northrend and i start flying to the ebon watch 1st…

That portal between the two is by far the most goofy thing I’ve ever seen.

It’s long overdue that you are able to fly in ghostlands and silver moon.

i agree. so we can fly in those areas. even thou they are part of the outlands mapping system out many miles so when you get to the edge of netherstorm you cant see it. yes its northwestnorth of the netherstorm

… it just took me like 12 minutes to fly from Silvermoon City to Ghostlands because of this BS

Guess we should have gotten Necromancers instead of Demon Hunters. :smirk:
