Oh god you made me bust so hard please yes
Whatâs the point of making a fourth spec when most classes already have one (if not more) specs that are already being neglected?
Fix demo and then worry about Warlocks fourth specs.
As of right meow, I can only see 1 feasible 4th spec: ranged Survival. Survival never should have been changed to melee, but we all know blizz isnât the smartest when dealing with classes.
The next two would probably be gladiator spec for warriors and maybe a third ranged spec for dh. As much as I would love to see a shaman tank, blizz is too lazy to implement a new tank spec.
Overall I donât think blizz will be adding anything new for awhile. They are too concentrated on aesthetics and woke censorship to actually make viable and meaningful changes to the game. In fact, they are spending all their money on attorneys, settlements, and âdiversityâ hires. Not to mention rehashed content and crappy class sets and recolored armor sets.
Wondering the same. Would much rather they improved the existing specs than add another one that will be more or less as dysfunctional as the other 3.
I donât think thatâs a valid excuse for not adding in more specs. Thatâs an excuse that isnât going to hold up forever and is an argument that will forever continue.
Blizzard isnât perfect at balancing specs, we know this, but that shouldnât be the reason why no one should have a new spec for expansions to come.
If they are to do a huge overhaul to classes by giving them a new spec, Iâd imagine theyâd also try to fix current issues with the current specs.
they already have too many specs to even approach balance. you want to add more?
Warlock demon tanking sounds cool
But as a warlock I can confirm pet AI will kill your entire raid if Blizzard tried to implement it.
Pets are just goofy sometimes
Hunter: ORIGINAL RANGED SURVIVAL HUNTER
Monster hunter? I see warriors fill that role better lol.
Ok, who is letting their cat make forum posts
When I think about a warlock tank, I think of the complete opposite from Demonology Warlocks.
The way I picture a 4th spec for warlock is a spec that revolves around summoning demons for sacrifice. Instead of summoning demons to fight for you, they would summon demons to sacrifice and empower themselves with.
They could summon all sorts of demons from the Nether and sacrifice/consume them to gain their abilities.
Part of the paladin fantasy are vanquisher of evil beings. Turn evil, track undead, wake of ashes, old exercise, ring a bell?
Iâd like rogues to get a gunslinger spec. Introducing pistols as 1h ranged weapons, which will be dual wielded, of course.
I would say, make the current Survival and call it Sentinel, than bring back the old survival. I kinda like the melee class but am sympathetic to those that miss the old survival.
Hey meow! I haz some great ideas!
Sentinel would fit more into the warrior gladiator spec.
However, I agree that msv needs to stay and the original ranged surv needs to return. Perhaps make msv into a strictly bomb-oriented spec and call it a dragoon or something. Let it succeed in aoe situations.
No. Two reasons.
One, this will lead to pruning and and specs becoming more diluted.
Two, they already have a hard time balancing the existing specs, plus all the borrowed power systems they continue to layer on.
I agree that they canât keep up with the specs they have, however, borrowed power is 90% of the time spent balancing classes. Cut out ALL the borrowed power (I know they wonât just amuse me,) they may have the time to keep up with em.
Uhh no, mage definitely needs a healing spec, but not a tank. That would be too weird.
wat?

Sentinelâs were in warcraft 3. They were night elf units, in fact an upgrade from huntresses that could throw glaives, which I think is similar to the current chakram toss in the game ( theirs bounced to multiple targets). While not exactly hunters, I think it would be a good place for it. As rangers and huntresses weâre merged originally for hunter.
