There is none, absolutely no reason at all, to continue to disallow people from mounting the bee on their Hordies.
I have 0 qualms with keeping the acquisition of the mount restricted to Alliance only, but once it’s been earned, the PLAYER should be able to use it on any toon they want.

The solution is rather simple. Join the Alliance.
EDIT: what is with these meme names im seeing today?

Literally has nothing to do with the request, especially when you need to have an Alliance toon to get the mount to begin with.

Maybe that’s because it’s an alliance mount?

Faction Specific stuff should go away since the factions are basically over.
You want your human to go full Zugzug wearing WoD Grunt Armor, knock yourself out. You wanna fly around on a big bumble bee on your Belf, why not.

yes make all mounts cross faction

Wut? If it’s not acquirable by horde, why should you get to use it on a horde character?
I don’t think faction stuff should go away, but I don’t think it would have hurt to put a different coloration of the bee as a random drop [as world drop, etc]. Just as they did with some of the other mounts in bfa.
I don’t think I should just have access to all the mounts, but it’s fun to have some tossed in there you wouldn’t expect to see the opposite faction riding around on [brewfest kodo is a quick example for an alliance to ride around on].

Maybe the same reason Alliance can use Kua’fon? Because it shouldn’t be restricted with arbitrary nonsense?

Then make it acquirable by horde and the problem is solved?
You do understand the reason alliance was given the bee right? We were given all horses, while you were given a variety of mounts, and blizz felt they dropped the ball and were making it up with the bee mount.

Factions not warring =/= factions being over. They are still separate entities just like most other factions/reputations in the game.
Even worse is the hivemind is not with the other accounts, people change mains but still play together.

The bee was added in because Alliance got nothing but horses in BFA. That’s the reason why it’s Ally only.

or you can roll alliance.

I’m not opposed to the acquisition remaining with the Alliance. It’s in an Alliance zone with Alliance NPCs (Barry the Beekeeper). Giving people reasons to play on a different faction for a bit isn’t a bad thing.
But that doesn’t mean it should remain only usable by Alliance. The Horde side had several mounts that required Horde characters to get them, but once unlocked were usable by Alliance characters.

Wouldn’t bother me one bit. I only use like 3 mounts and I don’t even have the bee myself. The whole horse bonanza was whatever anyway, they’re all just +1s to the collection. I don’t really get excited for mounts anymore as they never get ridden. Mogs are the true collection endgame for me.
I couldn’t tell you if opening up faction restricted stuff would improve or worsen the game in the long run, though. I guess that is for the data nerds at blizz to decide.
I don’t care either way. I’m not the one making a thread on the forums that I can’t use a bee
