More zones? Old World updates? Classes? Races? Customisation? New Armour? Story content?
No, what you want are new borrowed power systems and currency grinds. That’ll be $100 for the expansion please.

Yes and no. I want to agree with you, on the outset you do have a point. But given the precedents of the past it’s very likely to be set off because of things.
I DO want you to be correct on this. I really do.
???
No they didn’t? Where are you getting that from. The Legendaries they were making in Shadowlands have become legendaries, there are no ‘sanctum sets’. The ‘Covenant sets’ are not the same thing as tier or legendaries.
the sanctum is the new raid. the new raid has sets that are copy paste of the legendaries
delete shadowlands Blizz
its time to go back to pre-cata days
Right, please tell me what I want because I obviously don’t know what I want, and even though I tell you what I want over and over you ignore it. So please, tell me what I want.
Preach it my friend, preach it!
I try not to judge someone for what they said with the benefit of hindsight. It is unfair to them and it really doesn’t help in the end.
Oh, the transmog…
Yeah, Blizzard said that the legendaries wouldn’t be transmoggable in 9.0 but the model would be moggable later, and now they are. And that’s fine.
You really think anyone would have been okay with grinding a legendary for every slot, on every armor type just to get full transmog sets?
We have the hindsight. We have 5 years of hindsight. That’s the entire point of the post. He set out a vision 5 years ago and now we have 5 years of hindsight with which to look back and see how how blueprint has fared.
they could have instead done a shadowlands ‘mage tower’ and locked them behind challenge content to earn. but nah, we dont have the resources to make unique sets to the raid. just take the legendary assets. what a joke
It’s lazy lol.
What they should have done, similar to Legion is make the appearances of the lego set come from Torghast, making it the raid set makes no sense considering it’s the legendary appearances just recolored.
I’m not too upset about it, considering their armor design has been going downhill since Legion. Expectations are very low.
It’s so unimaginative. I mean everything from the design to the color scheme. Yes it’s different. I appreciate that. But personally I find it drab and lacking.
And just because he changed his vision between now and then isn’t an issue. The world and the game are not the same as back them. Doing what you are doing will just dissuade people from talking about a direction they want to take because if something forces a change in direction someone will come along and say “well you said this 5 year ago!”.
Things change and you are forced to change with them.
Ehh… I think the armor set design has been really good, except for 7.3 I hated those sets.
Every set prior to the Argus raid was either given a class theme, or it had some tie in to the raid where you got it from. But then 7.3 tier came along and they were like. “So BFA is the next expansion, can you see it yet? Can you? Can you?!” and I just rolled my eyes at the entire thing.
It wasn’t obvious then, but now when you look back at it. It’s plain as day.
It’s called feedback. A meaningful way of understanding how your work is accepted. And in my experience a far better system of feedback than using metrics.
i think the worst thing and crime they have been doing, is just making all difficulties the same set, but “just trim off the effects” which leave it all to be desired in normal-heroic. while mythic is just a teensy bit more flashy.
compare it to legion, when all the sub mythic difficulties still had effects, and the mythic went all out with a better design. theyre so darn lazy now
This is true.
Let’s be honest a second, you are not looking for feed back. This is just another attempt to throw some more shade at the developers.
Yes, I often found myself looking through the different difficulty ranks and wondering what’s the point? Let me run mythic so I can get this little bit more? Time invested vs reward was just not there with that system.
Not so much. SL came with no new race, and no new class, and the major selling point of it from a character creation point was more customizations, which was then flaked out on.
Systems and the like are fun but the problem is most of SL’s systems feel like they openly combat the player, which leads to frustrating experiences, and that most of the choices made by developers feel like they’re out of touch with the community regarding grand scheme.
