Locked into my mage. Whenever I try to click on a new character from my roster, it will act like nothing was clicked and I’m stuck on my mage toon I don’t play anymore.
Which browser? Edge and chrome are based on Chromium and might be having site issues.

Seems to be working fine on Firefox though.
Hmm, did not know it would turn my alts green.
I’m using Chrome. This has been going on for months, I just decided to finally bring it up since I’m on the forums as a toon I no longer play.
I can do everything up to actually having it change. I can bring up my character roster, I can filter specific toons, but when I click on the toon I want to change to, it will not let me. Clicking does nothing whatsoever.
Have you tried logging out of the forums and then logging back in? I have to do that almost every time I switch forum characters.
Yeah, didn’t do anything to help lol.
Edit: wait, so it’s showing me on my mage in my profile but on my lock on replies.

The forum is haunted!
Is there any concrete fix to this issue? I’ve had it happen to me in the past, but it always quickly resolved itself. This time, however, it’s been over a week and I’m still not seeing my Retail characters.
Last week, I logged out of my account for a reason I can’t even remember (I may have been forcefully logged out), and when I returned I only had this one Classic character to pick from, whom I hadn’t played in many, many months, and all of Retail characters are nowhere to be found.
I have only ever posted on a Retail character, for which I’d like to resume posting on, yet I haven’t the slightest idea how to “refresh” my character list on this forum software.
I’ve tried the following:
- Logged into several Retail characters, across multiple WoW licenses attached to this Battle.Net account, including the character I want to post from.
- Logged into this character on Classic
- Reset my password
- Changed out my authenticator (was doing it anyway, but it didn’t trigger a refresh)
- Cleared all Blizzard/Warcraft related cookies in Chrome
- Logged in through both FireFox and Opera GX
- Logged in on an entirely different computer (same IP)
- Purchased items through the store with Blizzard Balance
- Made a post in the Customer Support forum with an unrelated issue
- Logged out, and stayed logged out for over 12 hours
I was hoping that maintenance on Tuesday would somehow fix this issue, but I’m still stuck with just this one Classic character to pick from in my character list, for the forum, and it’s very frustrating.
I’m hoping that someone has something else to try that I haven’t already.
