Hi.
I subscribed yesterday and, despite multiple cookies/cache clears in every direction, I can’t get the forums to recognize my subscription and so I can’t post or reply in any forums (minus this one?). My forum account has a trusted level of ‘member’ so that shouldn’t be the issue, I don’t think.
I want to chat in the General Discussion forum and the Lore Story forum and I can’t.
Did you try to log out and back in?
I just paid yesterday and was able to post as soon as I paid, but I logged out of one account and into this one.
I did, multiple times even. I even logged out, cleared cookies/cache (including those of battle.net and the main wow site) and then re-logged into the site using the battle.net client. For some reason my account page shows me as active but actually lets me go through the entire re-subscription process, anyway.

Are you still having this issue? I believe the forums restrict your ability to post in most categories until it recognizes you have an active subscription, but it sounds like your new sub wasn’t immediately recognized for whatever reason.
It’s possible there was just a lag in the system somewhere?
Edit: Scratch that. I see in your activity you were able to post in the story forum now 
Glad you got it working! What changed?
It did resolve! I had logged in and out multiple times, totally logged in/out of my battle.net account multiple times, deleted all cookies/cache multiple times. None of this fixed it until I made a post in the support forum and I was told to log out of the forum and then back in (like I’m dumb or hadn’t indicated I had already done so multiple times) and don’t you know it suddenly worked.
So I’m not really sure what changed, but my making a ticket seemed to have suddenly done the trick.
