How? It’s part of the topic and points out who is participating. Nowhere is that inappropriate or trolling. It’s not like it’s hidden information. It was lilterally added recently as an option to even SEE the individual posts from one person and collapse everyone else’s.

you know we’ve answered this like a 1000 times in the last year.
A blue told someone to swap alts to get away from harassment.
IF your btag is showing on EVERY alt you have, then you CANT get away from the harasser because they know its you.
They did a forum revamp the other day. I got kicked out of the forum. On logging in a few things were changed. But logging in on my desktop I was able to see that I am now able to use my account there. Previously I was locked out of posting on the forum on my desktop as the forums told me that I did not have a subscription and had no characters over the level of 10 on either of my accounts. A lot of people had this issue. It only took them 6 months to fix it. It appears that the previous update made the forum incompatible with Firefox in certain ways.

Given the behavior we have in here currently no one could give that guarantee and we all know it.
UNtil the harassers are removed from the equation, its too risky to give them another tool they can use on this forum.

That can be a real problem to deal with.
I had a website that refused to work right in Explorer a few years back.
Tens of thousands of lines of code to weed thru and it ended up being a space was missing. Not a real character, but a space. lol…wasnt easy to track down.
All the other browsers worked just fine…just explorer was tossing fits about it.
Their people up, and others down. Didn’t matter the validity of the post, it was which “team” you were on. Reminded me of high school nonsense.

We already went over this in this thread, remember? What you are talking about is an argument FOR Battlenet level forum account and ignore, which you already said you are ok with.
They can’t bother you at all if you when you can Ignore their whole Battletag. You will never see if they reply to you.
Exception being if they try it on other Battlenet accounts. Again though, easy to see and Ignore and/or report for ongoing harassment.
Just like in-game if someone switches accounts after you put them on Ignore you can report them for Ongoing Harassment.
Your Battletag was made to be your public Blizzard name, across all Blizzard games and forums. A name you control and can change.
