Yeah. And I think it’s nice that every game mode has its own type of end game progression pillar now.
I don’t know that the key squish was the way to go, though. I get what they were trying to accomplish… but I don’t think it worked.
There’s still a huge gap between Heroic and M0 dungeons and people still don’t run any of them.
But I don’t know how to solve that problem.

I’m alright with M+ overall but I can’t help but wonder if there’s something better for our beloved MMO? Hence, the whole “was it really good for the game?” Which yeah, it was. But imagine if we had real housing instead.
With the quoted above I’ve always felt PvP was really the infinite scaling mode players wanted. You’re fighting other people. Humans adapt. M+ eventually has an impossible finite peak of difficulty whereas PvP will always be infinitely difficult (If they can balance it…).
Then again speed runners still manage to beat records in old as dirt games.
I kind of want to. Not necessarily raiding itself but the “Hey homie, wanna go do something moderately hard that won’t give us carpal tunnel?”
Well, housing is pretty different from an end game pillar. We’re talking progression end game as opposed to a collections system.
And I do think Delves were a fantastic addition, plus we’ll have even more reason to run higher tiers for more challenge in season 2.
Do I think the formula for M+ got stale? Possibly. It worked before. But with the way the game is changing, maybe it does need its own changes.
That’s how I feel about Delves. I just run with a friend or two for some challenge, but nothing that makes me want to rip my hair out. lol
Sadly it’s a pillar that requires as much dev time as M+ did. M+ still takes a lot of dev time with all the dungeon re-balancing (Probably not that much time).
I firmly stand that housing would’ve done so much more for this game than M+. And I’ll gladly be wrong about that come Midnight (No I won’t lol).
Probably more, tbh. Which is why we keep getting recycled or reused assets this expansion. They always told us we’d have to lose a raid tier or more for them to do housing. They found a way around that by pulling unused assets out of the files to use as new stuff, so it’s minimal effort, so the team can focus on the housing.
I think it would definitely have gone in a much different direction. But I think they would have just kept CMs then, instead.
From the options I would choose :
I enter a thread because of the topic, to discuss the topic. If I want to discuss a topic, I scan the Forums for an appropriate thread.
As those Discussions… deteriorate… insults may be bandied about… but I try to keep them related to the discussion. I don’t make it personal - I can trade barbs with someone in one thread, and support their argument in another.

Because personally, I see it as a matter of basic forum courtesy to at least remain on the topic of the thread. Should it devolve into insults, I will take a cue from the OP - if they say their thread is being derailed, I will stay my hand.
