If they add Battle Tags it’s going to be a whole lot of “Real ID is coming back” and the low number of WoW forum participants will drop even more.
And for what gain? Will it save Blizzard money in the long term to pay to make those changes? Will the benefits of us being able to see something that Blizzard already knows somehow make their job easier enough to actually save actual human CS employee work hours?

I think it takes like 2 seconds for blizzard to explain that it’s not real id, and most people who are frequenting the forums know this anyway.
