I'm referring to the above. Personally, I don't see why all Forsaken must be the zombie style Undead we've been used to so far. I'd like to see a spectrum of Forsaken, from the current zombies we have, to the Chinese Forsaken without exposed bones or torn up armor, like so...

...and ending with Nathanos Blightcaller style Forsaken, fresher Undead who weren't already rotting when they were turned into Forsaken.
It'd also be beneficial for the Horde, as it'd give them the closest thing they'd have to a "human", albeit a dead one.
It'd be easy to implement, too, since it's essentially just a normal human, but with pallid flesh and glowing eyes. So how about it, Blizzard? Any chance we can get Forsaken Undead player models in the style of the new Nathanos Blightcaller? Because in all honesty, I'd race change this character to Horde in a heartbeat if I could play something like that.

Perhaps the option of elven looking undead guys? Also we need to finally get undead druids with plagued/zombie shapeshifting skins.
It's not an easy process though, it seemed to rely on a blood relative of the person being "upgraded" and it can't be repeated very quickly because of the limited supply of Val'kyr.

Which means not gonna happen, op.

So you don't want to play a Forsaken, you want to play a human. How about no?

Some Dark Ranger options would be nice. That's something I'd like as well.

Or a new and easier process could quickly be discovered, or they could have been created not too long ago, and boom, we've got livelier and more human looking Forsaken. Point is, if Blizzard wants to do it, they can do it, and they can come up with a quick and easy story reason to explain why they're now a character option.

Nathanos only got that appearance when Sylvanas performed a dark ritual involving human sacrifice and weakening one of her Val'kyr. No way she is doing that for every Forsaken. She only did it for Nathanos because those Windrunner sisters have always had a thing for human men (guess the belf men just weren't manly enough).

Nope. I want to play a proper Undead Human that looks like Nathanos Blightcaller.
And why no? How are you harmed by the idea of more Forsaken players that look like Nathanos Blightcaller? Where exactly is the downside? We've already got Nathanos Blightcaller and Dark Rangers running around in the Forsaken ranks. What exactly is the downside of more like them? Especially when the implementation would be so quick and easy?

I know, but if you realize that then you should also realize they dont care what you want when mention on this forum. They dont listen to play feedback from here. therefore I am safe from seeing a horrible idea come into play to allow this to happen.
I wouldn't mind a model of undead that stood upright. I'd also kill to have my "Human" Death Knight join the Forsaken since he's, you know, Undead.

No.
Nathanos, it's true, is not rotting. That's because that [censored] Sylvanas had the Valkyr essentially steal the life from Nathanos' living human cousin and transfer it to her special toy boy. See the short story "Dark Mirror" (it's here somewhere on the WoW website).

Which would be a cheap cop-out that greatly diminishes Nathanos and the sacrifice of his cousin.
It's even explained in the short story where he got his new body:
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/story/short-story/dark-mirror
"Could the Val'kyr not do this for all our people?" he asked.
Sylvanas glanced at the implacable visage of the ghostly battle maiden. "It is an arduous endeavor, one they are reluctant to undertake. Without the Lich King's energies feeding them, I believe it requires a portion of their own essence to succeed." She turned toward him. "But it is my desire, so it will be done."
Honestly as much as I'd love more options for the forsaken the use of val'kyr is the only way and at the moment Sylvanas has very few and don't know how to get more let alone with her being afraid of a permanent death because she has a spot in WOW heck she may not be so up to using them so carelessly. Unless Blizzard pulls a plot device out their magic hat decaying undead is what we will have.
Worgens were originally planned Horde unless they meant pure blood worgen and not the human that becomes them.01/15/2018 01:22 AMPosted by ChazzwozzerSo you want DK humans with red eyes on the horde
Imposter!
Sure, why not. You have to personally kill the human body that you want to reside in though.

Yeah, those are called HUMAN DEATH KNIGHTS. You're one of them.
The only reason Forsaken DKs don't look EXACTLY like you is because Blizzard only stopped the "Omg we can't have characters that look exactly alike in both factions" thing in MoP.
Forsaken DKs were SUPPOSED to look EXACTLY like Human DKs, except they'd be Lordaeron humans and thus would want to join the Forsaken, while Human DKs would be Stormwind humans and thus would want to join the Alliance.
What they did to Nathanos was a variant on the Death Knight necromancy spell - it says so in the short story, gdi - so what you'd have would be, guess what, a sort of Human Death Knight.
Also most of the free-willed Forsaken would NOT want to go through that since it requires a LIVING RELATIVE to work. Nathanos was ok with it at the beginning because he was so rotted he didn't have access to his emotions anymore, when he got his cousin's body he came to regret it.

Also this, in BfA she loses all her remaining Valkyries so she can't raise nobody else.
All - ALL - the Forsaken players are raised either back in Wrath (for DKs) or during the Cataclysm but BEFORE the battle for Gilneas, in the game timeline.
After the Battle for Gilneas there are no more free-willed Forsaken being raised due to Greymane's son being raised and shooting Sylvanas dead right afterwards (good on him, too, would've done the same in his place).
Sylvanas went Lich Queen right then, the only reason players don't realize that is they don't even pay attention to the game, let alone read quests or watch dialogues.
