They are still called the forsaken, which is a title made up by Sylvanas.
Their crest is still a stylized porcelain face of Sylvanas with her 3 arrows representing the three windrunner sisters (sylvanas is the broken one)
Updating these, and other holdovers, would go a long way to show they are moving on, if indeed they are doing that.
Might have to wait at least til the pre-expansion patch to see any changes for that stuff.
I don’t think that’s right. I think that’s something they called themselves.
They may have been given the name and crest, but they have earned it through their actions in their mind, and have assumed that identity. The forming of the council is a step in recognizing their history (and bad history at that) and trying to swing that image around. I dont think a change of name/crest is warranted or will happen, they are just changing the perception of the forsaken through a new story. Hopefully lol.

and easy fix would be to replace dark with light… “for the light lady” and “light lady protect us”
It’s like the English Crown. A symbol, but contained like museum pieces with no real authority.
It’s almost like stuff like this takes time to change.
They had… what… about 2 years to record some new voice lines and change a dozen texture maps? And that’s only if they got started when the expansion launched.

Regardless of who made it up, until the living unilaterally accept us with open arms, we will always be the Forsaken.
For my part, seeing that crest helps remind me what we can become if we’re not careful and don’t police ourselves.

Considering they gutted the female dwarf jokes to 2 and haven’t replaced them, my money is on the original voice actors for the races not being available lol
