Forsaken Allied Races

“Erm they should just add core races” I agree but if they’re continuing with allied races anyway we might as well talk about them at some point.

To be specific, Worgen and Forsaken are the two that have not gotten any yet while Dwarves now have two. Let’s focus on the Forsaken for now. What would you guys want for them?

My suggestions:

  1. Anything that represents ghosts or the spectral undead in any way, then some way for them to logically be playable characters.

  2. If you’re going to do “Lightforged” Undead, then expand their lore more than just “the light did it.” Explain the difference not only between these guys and the regular Undead that get burned by the Light, but also them and other light users.

  3. Skeletons. This one is a little less serious because I think it’s less likely but I also think it’s cool. There have been intelligent skeletons around, primarily seen with the Scourge and with a little creativity they could have some customization.

Would you settle for the ability to play any race as a Forsaken, as opposed to just Humans? I mean, a Forsaken Troll would look pretty cool, and a Forsaken Vulpera would just be hilarious.

There are light undead in tww so there is some space for them to be added.

They arent included in a way that could be used for an allied race.
But its the first time weve seen them exist in bulk.

Eh.

Right now, the most the Alliance will get in terms of Forsaken is Mechagnomes. I’m not kidding. They’re the only race to replace (lol rhyme) their hearts with mechanical cores. Or rid of their flesh with other forms of mechanics.

Technically that qualifies as an undead deity. To a degree.

…as for Forsaken, Leper Gnomes are just as crazy. Closest I can alter the deal is they became Slimes after such a long decay and rot. :robot::test_tube:

The last time I suggested that I got swarmed with “blizz would never go for that wahhh” but I think that’s a really good idea for either ghosts or skeletons lol.

I just pray it’s going to be more creative than “Undead that can use the Light” I swear :sob:

Who said anything about the Alliance? I don’t think the Forsaken would make a good swap to the Alliance tbh. However…

I like the idea of Leper Gnomes allied race for the second Gnome allied race, with their connection to the Forsaken being the reason for their faction swap to the Horde.
