I tried to open a ticket to ask about this but I keep getting the run around (automated response and then someone who either could not or would not answer the question) and was directed here even though I am not sure this is a bug… I am just trying to get a straight answer on whether or not this recipe drops in follower/normal Priory of the Sacred Flame dungeon. The enchanting tab does not specify a difficulty, the loot table does not show it as a drop and Wowhead seems to have different opinions on whether or not it can. Since this dungeon is not part of the season, there are no other options to get this outside of follower/normal. I have done this dungeon 86 times on my priest trying to get it but have had no luck (or maybe it just doesn’t drop this season?). I just want to make sure I’m not wasting my time trying to get something that does not drop from follower dungeons.
Wowhead shows a 0.3% drop chance
Drop rates fall into the category of “game hints” and no employee of Blizzard is allowed to discuss those. You’ll have to trust fansites with datamined information.
I mean… I guess? But the enchanting tab says that it comes from Priory. Last xpac it would specify a difficulty if it was limited to a certain difficulty (like heroic). This one does not say anything specific and since it is not part of the season, there is no other way (currently) to get it. I’m not asking about the drop rate, I’m asking if it exists in follower dungeons or if I’m just chasing my tail trying.
In other words, a drop rate. “Zero or not zero” is a drop rate question. You will not get a blue response answering that question.
Wowhead comments say yes.
Yes, some say yes, some say no. There’s one that says it was updated to drop from Dawnbreaker M+ cache so I think that’s what I will try next. Thanks!
Only comment I saw in regards to dawnbreaker says it specifically doesn’t come from dawnbreaker.
If you go to “Dropped by” and then go to “Prioress Murrpray” there is a comment there. No telling if it’s true or not but it’s worth a shot at this point.
Formula: Enchant Weapon - Authority of Radiant Power
Doesnt seem to have any other way to get to the dungeon except follower or normal mode so how are players expected to get this if it drops only on a heroic, but, wait, there is no heroic listed in the heroic dungeons for season 1 so come on blizzard, its not a hint we want but rather a defect clarification, is this somehow failing to properly be available or are we crazy? If we go to the **Adventure Guide > Dungeons > Priory ** It does not even list any formulas … I call unfair practice here you bait hole us into a frustrating predicament.
Its drop isn’t limited to heroic so that question means nothing.
