Since we’re getting the new races in the prepatch so we can level them up in time for launch, I would like to request a longer prepatch period so that people can take their time to level up instead of having to rush.
Additionally, as far as i’m aware people are still running naxx, at least on my server, having the extra time to enjoy naxx and taking the time to prepare for TBC by collecting gold and gear would be an added bonus in my eyes.
Pleast consider my request, I’m personally not someone who likes it when content is rushed out.
That would be nice and knowing how bad launch will be 4fps I might schedule my PTO for prepatch and work 100% on my Drae Shammy. Then wait a day or three for Hellfire. (I know, who am I kidding, I’ll try to get in there too)
As short as possible please… pre-patch is the most imbalance time of an expansion … vanilla PVE is already so easy… vanilla PVP is also boring do one-shot or get one-shot style… Both PVE and PVP will get worse with pre-patch… So a week or two is more than enough for nostalgia people …
I think its going to be interesting. This will be something that we did not experience back in the day with both Shaman and pally on horde and alliance during the pre-patch. Personally i think its worht some extra time. Not 3 months but maybe 2 months total for a thing that players have, overall, have not experienced before.
You should probably calm your rhetoric of people you disagree with
I can support a 2 month pre-patch period. That way the Belfs and Draenei can spend quality time leveling and the rest of us can get aquianted with the skill changes.
I see no issues here, gives us more time and gives Blizzard more time to make sure TBC launch is smooth.
Lol, read my post again kiddo. When did I ask them to rush it? They can take as much time as they want in beta and make sure everything is fine. it doesn’t necessarily need a long pre-patch to make sure the game is fine.
I do believe both PVP and PVE are bad in vanilla and that’s why I want BC (reach out to me when you are 60 and I will explain it to you in details). I believe TBC was the best era of this game in history, specially for PVP. And lastly, unlike you many of us lost our hope in retail wow more than a decade ago, so going back to it is not an option, but thanks for suggesting.
Well yeah, we will see. But I don’t think vanilla rogues with shadowstep will be fun to you for more than 2 weeks… it’s kinda like phase 2 which sounded really fun before it happens, but not so fun when it actually happened, just my viewpoints again…
I guess, playing purely Devil’s Advocate here. Having an enjoyable leveling experience on a BElf or Draenei can be done after the launch. You do not HAVE to have a level 60 by TBC launch. There will still be plenty of people leveling these two races long after the TBC release.
Again, I can see a valid argument for a longer pre-patch, not saying it is wrong, just throwing an alternate viewpoint in.
I know you added this as additionally, but from my point of view, this part is better done before the pre-patch, so I’d rather delay the pre-patch than lengthen it.
No more so than Naxx geared pre mades in bgs have been to this point. Also, it sounds like an issue for open world pvp servers which is not something im on so its not really a problem for me at least.
