Do any true and tried Druids run into shifting out even now and then? I’ll try spamming my abilities and suddenly I’m in human form?

Need to know what exactly you are pressing, some abilities will autoshift you to human form, e.g regrowth entangling roots,wrath.
You can disable autoshift with
/console autounshift 0
But you will find that disabling autoshift has its drawbacks and it’s usually best to stop pressing the abilities that are autoshifting you rather than diabling autoshift all together.

I should look into this more. I know there’s an ability tracker list so I’ll look into that. It feels like I’m auto cancelling but I’m not!
Can you provide a name-realm? Also what’s the spec?
how is that gonna help? they already mentioned they are guardian.
So we can look at talents selected and gear? I did miss the guardian part in the initial post, just saw the race.
Theres a bug with the guardian tier set that can shift you.
Very likely you hit something that can’t be used in Bear Form. For me Its Travel Form(and Being Indoors). Its a habit of mine, which I do it in all specs when I want to move somewhere fast…particularly dangerous when tanking.

Seems to have done it
Could make it a macro so it only casts it if you’re outdoors when you press the button, that should prevent you from unshifting indoors if you push it by accident.

I ended up playing it for a day more and then went back to my protection Paladin. I chickened out today but will try Druid in the future!
Specifically, if you have the fluid form talent(probably trying to play druid of the claw, instead of laser bear), it will randomly shift you into cat form.
Op mentions shifting into human though, which is way more likely that they’re hitting a spell. It seems rare that people still take it, but regrowth was a big problem for me when I still took dream of cenarius. It was far too easy for the proc to wear off as I was clicking the ability. Could be that?

just in case, if you have the talent “Reinvigoration”, when you use Frezien Regeneration it consumes the charge of Dream of Cenarius proc. Maybe this will make you see that you can use Regrowth but when you try use you cannot because the proc “disappeared” and now you are in humanoid form

Look into this addon. My all-in-one form macro has been mousewheel up since Vanilla. I have never shifted out of form by accidentally hitting this until I got a new mouse that has a very sensitive mousewheel and I noticed myself switching forms accidentally at lot. It is an all or nothing addon which means you will be only able to switch to Bear/Cat while in combat but there is a feature that allows you to toggle enable/disable the addon via a script without a reload on the fly. I made a macro for that script and if I need travel form while in combat (mostly PvP) I can either use my /cancelform macro or toggle the addon and shift into travel.

I heard fluid form is bugged, it can shift to other forms when the tier procs.

I did this yesterday, lol, on my guardian. Luckily I didn’t die, but any “tried and true” druids noticed, and laughed, I’m sure.

If I do that will my balance Druid stay in moonkin form when I cast a rejuv?
No, you will not be able to cast rejuv.
Edit - It might just be restricted to Bear/Feral. Test it out and see.
I’m still confused as to what doing it even does for Druid then.
The /console autounshift 0 commands were used by Bears and Ferals when they run a talent that gives them free Regrowth Procs. If they were spamming the key it could make them leave form. The command was broken in retail due to some powershifting shenagians from Classic.
People test it and the code appears to work but not while in combat. I have seen several attempts to reinvent the script but none have been succesful. The addon I shared above seems to be the most reliable (to me) but I am not running the talent currently on my Bear.
