Last night we clicked on 2 different ones and the mobs that your supposed to fight never appeared. Didnt think nothing of it.
Just clicked on 2 more this evening and nothing again.

just to add to this post, as of this morning after tuesday reset, still finding plenty of Forgotten Memorials that still do nothing when clicked

Also experienced this today with 4 of the 6 Forgotten Memorials I attempted to interact with. 2 showed ol’ buddy coming out for the smoke, 4 of them were completely unresponsive for several uses. I gave up trying.

Found one of these at 59.99 82.34 (tom tom) Discordant Sieve, under a cliff overhang. I clicked and nothing.

Having the same issue for the last reset, none of the Forgotten Memorials have spawned the mob.

I’ve found a few. Some did spawn add that I defeated and got stuff. One at 76.3, 65.7 did not work at all for me. I click, no one spawns for me to fight. The memorial goes back to being clickable after a few seconds.

there is at least 5-6 i came across between two of my characters that did nothing.

This is to say that today I can click on it but nothing happens. Still Bugged. SO FREEKING FRUSTRATING.
Just encountered this bug as well. Clicked two different memorials and nothing spawned

This just happened to me.
I know I did the forgotten memorial at /way 48.5 59.5 on at least one alt yesterday, but nothing spawns when I click it on my main today.
popping back in to this thread as i did not see any responses or any updates in notes etc…
but i have been speculating and from further observations of doing this, it might not be a bug per se. as i will always buy those maps from the vendor to make these rumors and memorials appear.
and what i noticed is that not all the memorials in the zone will appear marked on your big map. but if you fly near one that is not marked on your big map and click it, nothing will happen, aka that particular one is not available for that day.
so im not 100% sure but i did a fly around and had the item from the vendor that marks your big map. and i flew around and found one that wasnt marked and clicked it, and nothing happened. then i went to all the ones that were marked and they all worked.

Confirming today the Forgotten Memorials do not spawn anything to fight.
Ran into 2 memorials, no spawns from either. Current non functional memorial at 69.12 81.61.
Same. These just don’t work.
A month since original post, same issue. But I have had this issue with other similar, what i assume is, quest starting creatures, like the little spiders. Click em expecting a rumor to start and no thing happens. Its always the ones I happen upon through exploring and not the ones that I located through a purchased item.

Came to say this one is still bugged as of 10/17/24.
11/10/24 and still bugged. WTF blizz, cannot you not fix anything?
12/1/24 - still bugged… how hard is it to make these work?
