Do y’all remember the majority of the players cried about all the ptr testing for naxx? And how it was not very “discovery” like. Now y’all cry for ptr testing. You all also cried for no Hardmodes. Toys are whatever, I’m not seeing people spam them everywhere. On Retail I do have to see atrocious outfits everywhere.
I never once complained about PTR and in fact I think most versions of WoW that don’t have it end up being a disaster. Nobody participated in the AQ40 PTR and look how bad P6 launched. Clearly the devs aren’t capable of testing the updates in-house
Naxx had 5 different modes so there was always something for everyone. 0HM can be done with no sanctified easily.
Naxx I think was done great however. Lots of people perma cried that they couldn’t clear hm4 with seal 7 and that they only listed to the elite players.
As a dad gamer in a dad guild, this was the best raiding experience thus far in SoD and we only killed 1 boss…the only other close one was pre-nerf cthun hm that took like 15mins.
Granted if we were trying to do it with only 20 instead of 26-27 it would have been much more difficult. We also didn’t have everyone using exlixir of demon slaying on a bunch of attempts and undoubtedly had some un-ideal gear setups. All the nerfs in an attempt to balance the new gear no one has yet didn’t help either.
