Why the hell did you remove the way having 5+ stacks of Maelstrom Weapon makes your buttons glow? There was absolutely no need for it and I just had to spend at least an hour setting up a WeakAura group to do the same functionality. Even in your explanation of the change in the patch notes made no sense.

Heck, I will riot about the Primordial Wave.
Changing it for elemental was a travesty.
We, the shaman who are outraged by such a horrid change will not be dismissed

I couldnt agree more. Enhancement is just not fun to play this way. I like all the flashing icons, highlighting abilities, and all the chaos on the screen. It really felt fun to play. It felt like you were truly engaging in combat. The spec now feels blah. It doesnt feel like an Enhancement Shaman anymore. The Weak Aura brings it back and it just feels right. Kind of sad that we have to use a Weak Aura because the Blizzard Dev Team has to kill fun.
It made sense but the updates to the ui just weren’t enough to make up for the button glow. I gave feedback on this on ptr that it felt pretty hard/annoying to track without the button glow.
I think what should’ve been done is everything should glow at 10 stacks and at 5 stacks they could have introduced a different type of glow (similar to what weakauras has) so you know the difference between 10 and 5. The visual they are using in the ui is just not good, and you don’t even know when you are about to hit 10 because the animation stays the same from 6-9 lol.
Realistically though using weakauras is what most enh shamans do because even with the button glow at 5, there is no way to tell how close you are to 5 or how close you are to 10, whereas a weakaura can tell you individual stacks you have and glow whenever you want it to. So its just better either way to stop overcapping.

Thats mine. Very simple, glows at 10 stacks, but tracks the number of stacks you are at. You can make it glow at whatever stack amt you want though.
Around 8-10 stacks is about right as long as it doesn’t overcap… Which will happen anyway occasionally.
