We care why? We are dealing with it by requesting it be fixed. fix Respec fees or fix botting so I can farm gold.

We all float down here.
That ship has sailed. There are no reasons to have gold sinks at this point and that argument is dead. They refused to start us all over at level 1 or cap gold transfers to a few thousand gold. Only thing this does is keep poor and casual players poor.
Yep, along with the 58 boost and botting, the economy is f-ed.
Yep I’d get behind this (not dual spec).
People aren’t going to sink as much time into a rerelease as they did originally, so I can see a case for lessening some of the gold sinks. Making respecs cheaper just allows more casual players better access to the game.
I’d be fine personally if nothing changes, but this is the kind of change that I think fits in with the #somechanges ethos.
In doing this (if they do) however, Blizzard would be tacitly committing to a shorter content life cycle. The cheaper and easier it is to do stuff in game the less time it takes for people to complete everything they want to do and start getting bored. It shortens the replay value of the game. Example, people won’t bother rolling more specialised alts (something which drove a lot of Vanilla classic replayability) if respeccing is trivial. But I’m not opposed to it in principle.
Whoa whoa whoa, let’s not say things we can’t take back now
Oh please, even if a 10g cap would be put in place, the scrubbies would be crying for dual spec within minutes in the hope that they’ll be able to eventually cope.
Not that there should be changes but honestly they should remove the respec cap and let it go to 5K gold or higher per swap.
