I recently returned from a 3 year break and wanted to unlock my Lightforged. I started the quest and got to the part of the quest where you are suppose to help T’paartos with the Crystal Fury. This quest is now bugged. The Crystal Fury just evades CONSTANTLY and T’paartos does not move from where he is.
This is what I have done so far.
- First 1-6 tries on my level 50 DH.
- Disabled all addons, caches, interface, wtf.
- Relogged, abandoned quests. Relogged.
- Tried pulling a frog to T’paartos, he killed the frog but refused to attack the Fury.
I did all of this x4. I got an automated answer back from Support, stating all of the things I had already done. The ticket was marked as solved. I reopened the ticket and stated all of the above again and below. I expect another automated response.
I uninstalled the entire game, the launcher all of it. Reinstalled it. 12 hours later, STILL bugged after doing all of the above. I did all of this with no addons either.
One day later, I tried the quest on another character. Get to this part in the cave, T’paartos STILL stand in place and the Crystal Fury evades EVERYTHING. It randomly teleports on top of T’paartos for a split second- and then goes back to it’s original spot and evading. There is no way to get through this part of the quest and it’s insanely frustrating.
Since in game support tickets don’t seem to work outside of getting the same automated response. I am posting here hoping there is a work around or something.
