Forever RP layer

Was talking to a few people in my current guild about playing the RP layer in Forever. I was trying to see how many people are actually going to go specifically on that layer to play? I’d hate to create a character and then it just be dead. So trying to get a feel as to how many people are going to head into that one. I did a whole work up for RP for it for alliance races (guess I could do horde too). So what is the general feel or consensus here? I’ll post my stuff if there’s enough interest.

Enough that the first major outcry when hearing about the layers was “what about RPPvP?”
So enough people care that they’re even wanting to make sure they get their preferred type of RP if that’s anything to go on.

WoW forever seems cool, but as someone who has played 23 years and still has thousands upon thousands of quests to experience for the very first time, I can’t even consider playing it.

Remember, there are 12 sets of content on Real WoW realms. The early cata/classic content with it’s own endgame, plus 11 expansions, each with their own endgame content. And then there is about 70% of that content that is unique to each faction, with each faction having about 16,000+ quests available to complete.

But some people play 10 hrs a day every day and may have experienced everything possible in WoW, so it makes sense if they played the tweaked WoW Classic: Vanilla or this new WoW Forever. It might not even last forever at all.

1000 new quests, 1 new zone, 1 reimagined zone and the skyborn race plus starting area for that race. That is what WoW Forever starts with, as well as some new systems/features and changes.

The patches for Vanilla will be released over time, so it will probably be a good year or two before any new content is released. Unless they have all patches released at the start.

It is still Warcraft, so of course it will be amazing. But if it’s not for you, come join everyone else on Real WoW realms. Plenty to do here

I’m very interested! I’m also leaning Alliance and hoping to build a team of five players who can group up and RP content. It seems like WoW RP often falls into wandering and hoping to encounter another RPer or RPing solo. I think getting together like a DnD group for content is a more fruitful option, maybe even a guild which would help identify people interested in engaging. If we get something like Total Rp 3 for “Forever” it would make things a lot easier.
