Forest Troll Race/Customization Megathread

Agreed, though once we get those unique bodies, it’s relatively trivial to just go ahead and make them an allied race from there.

Come to think of it, in all these discussions on adding extra options, I’ve noticed a lack of clear labeling so new players have a better indication of just what they’re picking. While each hair style gets it’s own name, skin selections don’t, and it may not be clear that, for example, the VERY first fur color selection for tauren comes from what’s commonly seen in the Grimtotem tribe. Some names of tribes would be helpful there, as well as names for what clans the orcs represent and which tribes the various troll colors represent. Heck it might even be nice, where applicable, to have a little listing of a species’ various clans and a short blurb about who they are, something that can be expanded and gone over while creating new characters. I’ve seen that in Guild Wars and Final Fantasy XIV for example. Just something, should a player choose to read it, to familiarize a new player with all the various troll groups that now make up the Shadowspear, or teach a new dwarf player that when they’re picking these tattoos, they’re picking a wildhammer, and just what it means to be wildhammer. Heck, void and blood elves should get a little explanation of how the highborne have forked off over the years and the different groups too.
