I get the name and shame (or is there some other reason nobody asked for?) on some of the more annoying toys, but who really griefs with the slidewhistle? Remove the emote and let people who want emotes on toys macro it, k thanks.

A nice thing like an emote automatically built into a toy? Why is this needed when /em exists? Why force it on people? They can keep the name and shame on toys like brewfest chowdown and toy train for all I care, but forcing emotes on HARMLESS toys? Nah.

I kinda clearly laid everything out clearly actually. There was zero benefit adding these emotes to toys, people for years have used addons or macros if they wanted it, and the keyword there is if. Some folks don’t like having cringy emotes attached to toys, reminds me of the folks with addons that spam chat with “/em My pet rubs their butt on the floor majestically lmao” or some such.
I miss the old Piccolo of Flaming Fire.

That’s part of what I don’t get, they gut tons of toys and emotes recently but then suddenly wanna slap emotes into toys that have been in for years, and it is weird choices too, if my dark portal hearth goes into a paragraph about what I am doing next time I log in I swear.
The things people will whine about NEVER ceases to amaze me.

The pointless hills people choose to die on will NEVER cease to amaze me either. Hope you have the same take on this if they ever go whole hog on the emote absurdity and each mount and toy types a book automatically on use.
