Why are they limiting the LFG tool unless you have Authenticator and SMS enabled?
This should not be a requirement to utilize features in a pay to play game.
This needs to be removed. It makes it almost useless without notes for what you are LFG for.

Just the first step b4 they require for everyone the authenticator just to be able to log in.
With the way the tech world has gone, I am shocked this is not already required. They are nuts for allowing people to have accounts without 2FA
Ive lost more accounts to not having access to an authenticator than I have from being hacked… in fact never had an account stolen. Been online since there was online.

They should have required 2FA a decade ago.
Can we obtain a physical authenticator anymore?
This is the real sticking point. Cause without that option it just looks like data harvesting.
Then require it. Don’t take away features of the game if you do not have it.

this is a measure to prevent the game channels, such as the new lfg tool, from being spammed by bots. it does not need to be removed. you need to use your brain before posting.
What is wrong with having blizzard software on your phone again?

Last I checked, no - and this is my sole reason for NOT havint one. I do not own a SMartphone, neither do I want one. If Blizz ever implement forced two step autentication without re-launching the physical authenticator … that’s where I quit.
So basically the very concept of criticism is invalid because “too bad, it is what it is, be quiet and put up with it?”
Quitting the game over increased security is a pretty wild hill to die on.
Forcing me to buy a smartphone is my hill, not the increased security. Give me the physical authenticator back, and I’m in.
Lol, you should see the users at my company. The lengths they will go to circumvent security is insane. All to avoid having to pick up their phone and type in 2 numbers.

Without an authenticator my account gets hacked within weeks. Before I started using the authenticator I was hacked so many times and it’s a massive pain in the bum.
