Why is it only for Balance spec?
I mean “Force of Nature” is a Druid thing in general, why not to have it for all specs?
Or at least for feral so we get invited to M+

It used to be for all specs, and the trees would do different things based on the caster. A Resto Druid’s trees would heal, a Balance Druid’s would cast Wrath, a Guardian Druid’s trees would taunt.
Removed at the start of Legion because of pruning.
Trees were my favorite Resto Talent. Didn’t they get removed early on in Legion? I don’t remember using them for very long and I know I would have used them almost no matter what.
They were removed in the Legion pre-patch, as part of the transition from WoD to Legion.
Because we had too many abilities, you see. And having a character that can do lots of things isn’t fun, according to the new development team.
If they give us Restorations Force of Nature, I’ll will have no more reason to invite Balances to my groups.
It doesn’t have to do the same thing for all specs
why would you want to nerf you our class, are you secretly feral or something
Feral doesn’t want Balance nerfed. Where the hell did that come from? What we want is something DIFFERENT from all the other druid specs to give us unique utility. A REAL reason to bring a Feral other than “LOL Mascot!”
I find that many Balance druids are anti-Feral and are happy to have Feral nerfed and/or weaker. It’s been that way since in Vanilla. Not sure why the hate exists.
Not secretly, I am feral. well, I play both but I prefer feral.
Chickens will always be happy if they are stronger than cats
Probably a combination of we shouldn’t even be here in the version we have and the melee vrs ranged rivalry.
I have to agree about the version being incorrect myself. We lost our true identity when Blizzard split Bear and Cat apart for MoP. I know several Bears and Cats celebrated it, but what happened is that it left both of us incomplete. And we haven’t been right since.
Wait, what? WHO celebrated it?
The best I remember from the time was people saying this:
Old Feral was 2 roles sharing the same spec. Now that each spec is its own thing, Blizzard will spend more time and effort to make both cat and bear each as fleshed out and satisfying as all the other classes’ specs.
Which, of course, is ridiculous in hindsight.
Yeah it was that followed by Yay! and Rah Rah! and This is Great!
It could have been great but after they spilt cat and bear they didn’t know where to go with it.
I can see giving a healing version of force of nature to Resto… but I never found treants to have much to do with bear/cat druids as they are more… animalish? I dunno. A summon animals spell would make more sense to me for them if we really want to extend the same mechanic.
Sort of:
Call upon the totem of Usoc/Ashmane to summon two bears/nightsabers to aid you for X seconds.
So happened to me today… got invited to a group for Ataldazar +10…
KICKED
Which speaks to either his inability to do a quick check of your profile and see your very respectable time in an Atal’Dazar 10 OR his complete lack of faith in the other members in his group and his concern that you wouldn’t be able to carry them.
Just grin and bear it, won’t get any easier any time soon. Even if they hilariously buff us (NEVER happen) on the 22nd, it will take some amount of time for that to get communicated to the general player base.
treants are nice but not manditroy. If a tank can’t survive pulls without treants he needs to L2P.
Not the point of the discussion. But thanks for playing.
i luved the mop era of fon i could keep 1 tree casted out round the clock or summon 2-3 as burst cooldown if they tree stay the way they are id rather have them act like mirror image instead of a target circle
