Almost every single rare is up, yet I can’t solo them.
Nobody around.
I did a primal storm boss, took over 10 minutes just to kill the boss because there were 3 of us total.
I thought zones did the sharding/cross realm thing?
Currently getting keys, doing vaults etc would be impossible for me. My realm is dead, and I typed in /1 and nobody is here.
Rares have so much HP and do so much damage. Why?
I can solo most as BM. I think it’s great rares present the slightest of challenges.
As for a dead server, xfer to one with a higher population.
I hate this answer. Been here since 2009. It wasn’t always dead. I have 16 toons tied to it. Not giving $$$$$$ to a company for a problem with their game. THEY need to fix this or lose more players
Fix what exactly? I mean they could offer free xfers I guess.
But yeah, if your problems are related to a dead server that sucks. The only solution is to xfer. I started out back on Wrath on a dead server, I xfered soon after I started raiding because it was a problem.
But it was a me problem, not a blizzard problem.
It may not be what you want to hear, but it’s good advice. You don’t have to take it of course.
I moved my toons from my old dead server to a more populated one and it’s made a world of difference.
Another option is to make groups in group finder for the rares and see if that helps.

If you did not play the PTR, you are so far behind anyone who did. I have missed over 10 rares because i could not, for the life of me find them, even though half were targeted!! I am not doing an entire questline just for ONE upgrade for an alt! Heck wif dat!
Are you on a RP server? This is the second thread I’ve seen about a dead realm. My old realm was dead, but then they connected it with something like 10 others. I still have a bunch of characters on that realm (Azgalor) and moved this one.
There’s a reason my guild xfered off Lightninghoof to Sargeras. Game just feels terrible on dead servers. Idk why Blizz doesn’t merge them.
Their excuse is drama with people having to do name changes, but I’m sure it’s more along the lines of having to admit they need to be merged and less money for transfer sales.
It’s no coincidence they did a services sale the day of this patch that involves groups and players out in the world.
Could solve that by introducing last names.
Or people can just do like me and either double a letter or slap a silent H in their name.
You’d think making sure everyone has a proper experience would trump naming issues and be more lucrative.
Blizzard makes quite a bit of money from folks who need to transfer all their toons.
The right thing would be for Blizzard to have a 100.00 transfer all my tons to one server option.
Even that’s way too expensive. What they need is to merge more servers, or close dead realms and give us free transfers to higher pop ones.
Nah. Bloodhoof is a PvE server. It was populated when I joined in Wrath, over the years though it died off
