I think they’re more like jumping challenges.
I have always sucked at jumping in games. I’m legendarily bad at it and so hate hate hate the jumping nonsense.
That being said, the oversized fruit, if it counts, isn’t that bad. Wowhead gave a really clear way to get it, that being a) be mounted. Run towards ball, jump, keep going in the same direction, jump again (I didn’t slow down) and you’ll jump right into the wall.
Be careful when turning (I fell off a couple of times) and go up to the fruit.
LOADS easier than it seemed. I tried jumping a dozen times for that thing before giving up and just tried seeing what people said on Wowhead. The other ones – I may go after if I get flying.
I honestly think some of the developers are wannabe console game designers. Only thing I can think of as to why they put this nonsense in this game.
To call it a ‘puzzle’ is beyond lame. A puzzle is something to solve. This is a matter of skill and ability, no solving needed. And don’t say ‘knowing where to jump’ because that is not a valid argument.
Edit: Just adding, not saying the last bit at Glortia, but to anyone who wants to debate that point.
I like the jumping puzzles. I even liked the ring quest in the Maw for the same reason.
I think they should have a mile club for those that reach a difficult high place. Maybe turn you into vombat and you have to scale a mountain. No lock or DH gimmicks.
And the mile high club has all kinds of perks, a cool looking bar, social activities, and dare I say at least one good upgrade to gear of your choice.
I didn’t look at requirements again cause I’m busy with something else so was under the impression with how people were mentioning it and referencing flying that it was mandatory.
Treasures in general suck in it’s current iteration.
I like jumping puzzles but Blizz does a bad job designing them.
Since t hey aren’t required, I’m fine with that but doesn’t mean much since I don’t see myself staying around for much longer. ZM doesn’t offer me much to do.
Oh geez, lol. That sucks.
Thank you for helping people get their five treasures that aren’t able to port or leap.
God I hate pathing puzzles so much.
To be fair, a lot of games and MMORPGs have jumping to harder to reach areas for treasures. This isn’t the first time WoW has done it, either.
The whole reason for the thread is to give you the super easy ones to get the achievement.
Somewhere out there is a person who decides who will stay and who will go at Blizzard when the Microsoft merger happens. If I were the jumping puzzle designer I’d be terrified of that person attempting them on a character that can’t cheese it lmao.
