I’m right there with you, got Valdrakken at like renown 18 and the rest still “hovering” at like renown 8-10 :man_facepalming::weary::-1:

Grinding renown = :snail::snail::snail::snail::snail: in this expansion, Shadowlands was much much better with it’s renown system… you could “max it out” and catchup in like 1 week on a fresh 60 alt, it was a super chill catchup

This. It makes druid equivically useless that we can’t use flight form. I like transforming into an owl and flying.

Ironically i noticed that some of your abilities for dragonriding have transferred over to flight form. Like not turnjng back into your normal form when youre gathering.

I’m hoping for my druid they’ll open the option for dynamic flying for flight form at some point as I’ve always wanted that. But, what gathering swapped you out? I know they’ve always been able to herb and skin in forms.

Herb. It never happened before dragon riding lol.

And i honestly hope not. I wouldnt play the game. If they do then offer a choice between dynamic or normal flying.

The wobbly potion effect in minecraft, and the shadowlands between-zone flight path background both make me super queezy, but besides that I’ve only gotten motion sick from real movement.

But that’s moot now since Daddy Blizz already did that with the region-wide AH.
Just because Blizz is too cheap to properly shut down the bots shouldn’t mean some of us get frakked by the unnecessary restrictions on real flying… :see_no_evil::hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

I’d love it for chill gathering sessions. Dragonflying feels too busy for it.

I really don’t see the point of pathfinder except to force more game time out of returning players.

Most people are current on their renown’s and such, but returning players are looking at weeks of grinding to unlock normal flying. It seems like nothing more than a way to coax more money from those who haven’t been subbed for the entire expansion.

They can’t even use the excuse of wanting people to explore because dragonriding exists. So what’s the point of pathfinder?

Was happening to me until I found out I could turn off that ridiculous wind animation around your dragon when you’re flying. It helped tons but I still prefer normal flying, hands down. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is such a tired response. People like what they like, ok? I don’t much like pink for clothing, doesn’t mean I don’t get that other people might think differently.

lets put path finder on something that’s 20years old due to being douche bags.

its a feature from the 1st expansion… are you blues/developers smart enough to see where I’m coming from? (doubt it)

I’m 100% convinced anti dragon flying threads are troll threads.

There is literally no way anyone has played this game for any amount of time and is having a hard time with dragon flying.

I’ve never played on the PTR before.
I copied this toon and checked.
The only things I’m missing are the new ones, of course :slight_smile: .

…also, the PTR Stormwind city near the ptr vendors seems very busy, or it’s just that there’s no sharding (etc,etc.) going on.

That’s a perk of the gathering skill points. It has nothing to do with being a druid.

Dragon Riding is great for long-distance flying, not so great for short distances (like moving around cities).
