You have many many people who have waited for years for this. They have been begging and pleading and so forth.
On the other side you have streamers and a very low base of random players put into the beta.
These people are getting the early advantage on knowledge. That is all, in a game where it takes every advantage that you can get. Theres a % of the player base that currently is getting a huge advantage on how this iteration’s mechanics work, and practice within it.
That is why they are grief-ing about this issue.

Does the beta gives you knowledge post level 30 or in raids?.
They are trying to recreate vanilla as close as they can, what knowledge advantage they will get that didn’t exist in vanilla or can see on stream?.
And Joana is making an horde and alliance leveling guide.

The beta gives you no more knowledge then reading a site like WoWhead or forum posts. The best of the best will still obtain and memorize things that even the average Classic player will never know. People had no clue there was such a thing as Haste break points and they were huge DPS gains to be had there.
Edit: Not everyone gets into the beta, this is nothing new. People make the same claims every expansion and it pertains more with those because it is actually new content. The major thing is going to be the adjustment to Vanilla from Retail. The rest plays exactly the same as it does today.

its not a speculation lmao, every beta prior to classic people have gotten in with out a subscription I was in for WOD and BFA w/o a subscription. perhaps try talking to people before jumping to the conclusion of everything is a speculation or assumption from left field.

Once it goes live for those who may not get a beta invite, will truly experience a epic nostalgic adventure and goals which made WoW rich from the beginning.
I can level a horde character 1-60 with my eyes closed. Being an OG is the real advantage.

Are you for real? Literally no blizzard beta for any of their games in the past required a purchase.
The game is not even out and people are already competing for getting things done first.
I guess it will be the same crap that is in retail today. You can grow teenagers but you can’t take the teenage mentality from them.

- No there will be no such advantage because this is content that is already been researched. just look some old leveling guides and mechanics there is close to no change to the mechanics and content. If this was a new expansion then yes MAYBE a small advantage.
So what is your problem that someone will get and take your world first level 60 I got news for you. there is a 99.9% chance you will lose that race no matter what you do.

Think this fo a second you have waited 10+ years for this moment and you cannot wait 3 MONTHS to experience it in live?
Also are you prepared to waste 3 months leveling a character you will not get anything from it except bragging rights (because I am sure 100% you are not going to the beta to try it out and find bugs). you will level a character in classic that itself will take you weeks if not months to level. So you really cant wait 3 stupid small months.
Now would I want a key. Of course I am not gonna deny I want one. But I will not lose my mind if I dont get one.

If you need to play beta to gain knowledge about Vanilla content you were going to be behind the 8 ball even with beta.
I think even after all these years I remember nearly every quest and quest location… funny, because I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast this morning…
