It takes a MINIMUM of 6 hours to lock out at 30 dungeons per day. If you are doing it with multiple toons (not multiboxing) then you are spending WAY to much time in dungeons. Lets say you lock out on three characters on the same account. You literally just spent 18 hours SPAMMING DUNGEONS. (go play diablo if thats what you are into. There are no lockouts) You lock out at 5 dungeons an hour per account and 30 per character. You still have to wait at least hour between each lockout regardless of which character you are on. Just stop whining. Its really not that bad. This is coming from a feral druid that farms MCPs and a Hunter that farms DMN for gold.
BTW Im tinking of possible doing the “Catch up to Septicflesh in Classic WoW forum posts” Grind. I hear its more time consuming then the R14 and Scepter grind put together.
It only takes 1 hr of played time farming MCPs across a 6 hr period to hit the instance cap. And it doesn’t appear to be a daily reset kinda thing, it seems to be a constantly rolling 24 hr period of time with zero tracking.
Eh, no, you’re confused. It’s perfectly fine to tell other people they’re involved in unhealthy behavior, and inform them to why that is the case.
Sorry to break it to you pal, but playing a video game is a waste of time. How people spent that wasted time doesn’t really matter, atleast it shouldn’t to you.
Well you actually only need one character to hit the 30 dungeon limit, but I see how using three characters can make this post seem more “legit”.
Says the person making a post, whining.
You’re farming dungeons? I bet someone might think you spend WAY too much time in dungeons, right?
Oy, stop being a dillidaddle, or I’ma have to get the paddle.
Some people aren’t able to play during the week but like to spend their weekends grinding the game. This change negatively impacts them. Some people have a random work schedule and choose to grind the game on their off days (I fall into this category), this change negatively impacts them.
Blizzards intention with this change was clear - to help cap exploitative game play and automated game play. I’d say they achieved this to a certain stance in addition to the ban waves they’ve sent out. However, it still negatively impacts people. Those people voice their frustration. It’s how the world operates.
Your opinion is your own and you’re entitled to it. That being said, it would be wise to see it from others’ perspectives as well.
I’m not telling you that you can’t post and make a total jackass out of yourself. You do you. And it’s still none of your business how much time someone wants to spend running instances.
It takes 6 real life hours, of which you may be logged in and playing wow for less than 3.
3 hours of resets over 24 hours doesn’t sound that unhealthy to me, sorry.
Math- 6 mins per reset (arena runs, MCP runs, skul stratholme runs, etc). 5 per hour, 30 mins played per hour, 3 hours. Some runs are faster than 6 mins, even.
It kinda is our business when they come to the public forum to whine about it. They’re airing their dirty laundry for all of us to comment on. They’re essentially asking for everyone’s two cents by doing so.
