You’re naive if you think the average retail player now isn’t miles beyond what they were in the past. Everyone was new to that type of game then. Also, you already know this post is going to go nowhere because most players are still behind the leveling wall. Repost this in month. Word for word.
Ah. The guy who is scared of metrics being visible on their toon that shows how bad they are (ratings, IO, achieves). Don’t like having a microscope on you showing you that you’re bad at gaming, right?
The only people killing him now are guilds who actually have enough people at level 60 or close enough. They’re all streamers who play for a job and their guildies who are also followers who have just as much free time.
It’s okay to admit it’s easy. I know you Vanilla only guys spent years telling us how much harder Vanilla was, and now that it’s available to everyone we can see that it wasn’t. Everyone was just terrible back then.
Because you dont understand why people are saying its easy so you make dumb assertions.
Rag got killed by nearly half the raid being sub 60 and almost no one in anywhere near preraid gear. You can’t do anything like that with a retail raid even on normal or prob even LFR. That is why people call it easy.
Content which is a joke to most retail raiders is significantly more challenging than ragnaros…
I’ll even admit I thought I was the knees back in the day and racked up a body count in my wake but there’s quite a bit difference in how I play now with the exact same class than I did back then.
When I think back, blows my mind how I missed utilizing and prioritizing a lot of my own abilities, mechanics, gear, etc.
I was bad. Even though at the time I was good - I was awful compared to now.
Genuinely looking forward to PvP as a fresh challenge again, too.
