it might not work on hardcore no lifers that dont have a job, but it for sure works on their target audience, which is average dad gamers with more money then time.
WOW token exists to take a bite out of RMT. Blizzard isn’t incentivizing people to buy tokens.
More people want tokens with cash, the less gold they give.
If no one wanted to buy tokens, a single token would give 1 million gold or something.

Tbh durability is an archaic concept. They should do what gw2 did and just remove durability from the game.
