Yes, because I’d be playing retail if I wanted all the retail features.
RDF was NOT added to be a catch-up mechanic. It was part of the technical solution to the instance server issues that the game was having due to the overwhelming popularity of Wrath, as was implementing datacenter upgrades to help solve these issues.
RDF was finally ready for release in 3.3 which is why it was only in Wrath for 48% of the expansion… yet it was still in Wrath for 48% of the entire expansion.
Please stop it with your false claims. Enough already. You can literally google the correct information.

Everyone knows that a non-cross sever LFD system is better for the game. You’re just trying to fight against it because you don’t want people to have fun with a system you don’t like because someone from another server needed on a blue 5 years ago and you’re still salty.

Has there been any information on wrath getting squished into a year? Not to my knowledge and that honestly sounds terrible, so please provide a link if any info on this exists
You literally made up something and presented it as fact so that you could justify gearing “faster” which I also said in my post isn’t actually gearing faster because it requires much much more play hours than normal. I ignored that part of your argument since it’s based on nothing, and pointed out that the second half of your argument is based on a change made at an even later expansion.
EVERYONE KNOWS that LFD is detrimental to gear progression at the start of the expansion. You’re just trying to fight against it because you want to be able to force yourself onto other players because no one wants to play with you. Someone denied you from their group for being annoying/toxic 5 years ago and you’re still salty.

WoW Classic TBC: June 1, 2021 - Septamber 26th 2022: 17 months
More than likely Wrath will last as long as TBC did. No offical source, just basing it on the current timeline. Yes, 17 months is longer than 1 year, but wrath was originally
November 13, 2008 - December 7, 2010: 26 months
Chances are it’ll be 9 to 10 months shorter, which is almost a year less.

If you have to turn to salty personal attacks against him, you objectively lost any argument you thought you had.
Also RDF isn’t used in retail, no one uses it for dungeons/heroics because there’s Mythic+ where it can’t be used. And now Blizzard is bringing Mythic+ Gatekeeping Finder to WOTLK where it does not belong.
I wish ignorant anti-RDF posters would stop trying to turn WOTLK into Retail with these changes.

LFD does not make it take longer. You literally don’t get locked out. Form the groups you want. Do the dungeons. Now you’re locked. Queue for LFD, hope you get the dungeon you want. It gives you an exponetial increase in the amount of chances for the peice you want.
And I stated that just because it was a later change doesn’t mean it was a bad one

Kek. I literally help lead a guild, have since wrath original. I get kara and ZA gear the week I ding 70 without paying gold. I just know that not everyone has a group of people that want to help them cause I have empathy and want the best play experience for the majority of people playing classic.
Maybe go take a shower and cool off.

Exponential doesn’t mean what you think it means. Do you actually want to queue for random heroic every 30 minutes to AFK out if it’s not the one you need? That’s the kind of gameplay you want for Wrath? Why?
