For the health of the game, incursions need to become daily quests

Incursions have been very bad for SOD because the exp is the highest per hour which forces most players into 1 single zone. If you are the lesser faction and on a PVP server, your experience is so bad you are either going to quit or transfer to a PVE server. This is why the pvp servers are dying.

The solution would be to either drastically cut incursion exp gains so that open world and dungeons are better exp gains, or turn incursions into daily quests that can be completed once per day.

They want to give you free levels but they have to balance that with making things feel meaningful…

It is a bit schizophrenic

I am reminded of the Black Hills reservations and the stories about First Nation folks hunting Buffalo in pens.

They would slap the Buffalo on the butt and the guy would chase it around the pen hollering… then eventually they would lance it or shoot it.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Meant to simulate a hunt and make animal husbandry feel more meaningful…

People know better blizzard

Do better

Free my people :sob:

Not sure where you went with that analogy but hell yeah brother

Dude. It’s buffaloes…. Buffalos are awesome.

Leveling needs to feel like a great hunt for the mightiest beast to roam the plains…

Boo the mockery Blizzard has created with this blasted blunder.

All they had to do was make quests give a ton more experience. Enough so that even on pvp servers it’d be faster than dungeons.

Instead they added content that ruined the economy and killed off the game world, the best part of classic wow. Incursions are the worst content ever added in world of warcraft. And now they are MIA.

Incursions have been the biggest revelation as to the quality of game designers currently at blizzard. They still have no idea why classic is great and got lucky in p1, milking the work of their predecessors. 3 phases in and it’s already derailed and an unfixable mess.
