The only relavent thing that changed was
“NPC difficulty has been scaled down. All NPCs have had their power reduced by 15-30%.”
Considering how easy they go down now, it would still go down quick.

Yes it would… but you left out the part where those were changes made during TBC…
Want those changes then ask for debuff limit removal, and class balancing while you are at it.

ikr! Way to mangle 1.12 AV version with no buffs to boss from towers/bunkers.
stabier.blogspot.comI would encourage you to actually go read the patch notes if you think that’s all that changed. Entire portions of the map were removed. Yes, that 15-30% nerf (which is huge in and of itself). MOST of the guards were removed (not some, not many, but MOST). Landmines gone. Goblin shredders gone. Even more things if you want to go read the patch notes. 1.5-1.7 is nothing like 1.12 AV. It’s like a normal dungeon vs. a mythic +20.
With that said…it is what it is. I don’t even have Classic installed. Pvp was ruined because of a few design choices. Blizz drove me away from the pve elements with their rush, rush, rush mentality of shoving out content far faster than it was done in Vanilla. So as far as I’m concerned they dropped the ball on Classic and it has now become a lost cause. I just came back to see validation that everything I said would happen happened. And it did. I take no pride in that. Any idiot should have seen the writing on the wall.

You’re being obtuse. Take any raid boss and nerf them 15-30% and they go from impossible to every guild in the world doing them. Stop pretending that isn’t a massive change.
But again, it is what it is. Blizz could have made an epic version that few people got to experience. Instead they did this. So like I said 9 months ago…enjoy your zerg.
Each level of M+ is 10% scale.
So it would be less than going from a +2 to a +5…

Yes but those patches had a lot of problems, plus Blizzard didn’t have a backup of any of them, I think they said they had backups of 1.9 or 1.10 forward.
Sure if they went with 1.5 instead of 1.12 we’d have a better AV but we’d also get a bunch of problems on top of that who where fixed along the way and we’d have A LOT of content missing, we’d never get to do Naxxramas for example.
What are you even talking about? I know they don’t care about faction balance. Also, I am a rogue. I didn’t get ganked repeatedly in p2. It still sucked and was a horrible phase for everyone because they failed to balance servers.

There has literally been thread spam on EVERY update in this copy paste format every time.
Also I’m a fan of changes they made in TBC and WotLK to make Alterac Valley a “Kill Galv and Burn the towers then win in 10-15 minutes” game.
But this isn’t TBC and WotLK, the reason I wouldn’t want those changes in Classic is because Classic is trying to be Vanilla. It’s a shame we couldn’t get old AV for phase 3 and then release 1.12 AV with 1.12 Honor Decay for phase 4 or 5.
No it’s not, at least with AV you get something 45-70 minutes of being camped on the way to BRD and have the group quit gives nothing at all.
Clearly horde. You got use to stomping Alliance in world pvp with your significant numbers and now you’re losing.
Stop crying and play better. Want pvp? Block alliance mid field. There is always a constant stream of alliance to fight with in AV

Didn’t 14 of my guild members camp your raid of 40 + escorts in BRM Multiple times? I remember doing it multiple times. So maybe your argument of having significant numbers isn’t exactly based in fact like your other opinions.
That server was corrupt af. Selling raid geared characters for real money. That server is the worst example to use.
You will cry no matter what they do with AV. It’s only one small part of the game. Just leave. Classic doesn’t need you.

This. If you group up at the Icewing Chokepoint, that is literally the best defensive position in the entire game (not just the battleground).
Horde just needs to wipe alliance once at that chokepoint and its GG.
