So do ours. What’s your point?
Thrall was down, Vol’jin was down and Saurfang as AFK. That leaves ulterior motives Sylvanas and Baine so of course they’d retreat.

My point is that, Alliance had many chances to completely dismantle hord but we didn’t use it because we are Lion and don’t want to bother finishing off hyena.
Yeah that’s fair.
Sylvanas has never truly been for the Horde and Baine is…well, Baine.
thxrall wasnt down, he is just coward who is scared to fight, just like rest of the hord. hord only attacks while in large numbers, just like hyenas.
And where were YOU on that day, hmm? Where were you that you didn’t swoop in to save the day?
Glass houses and throwing stones, and all that.
Actually, we turned around and fought a mass of demons that were coming up the other way. Yes, we did have to leave eventually, but it had nothing to do with abandoning Varian.
Personally, I think that whole scene was horribly written. There were so many things the Alliance could have done to save Varian, they really didn’t need the Horde or Sylvanas. But you know, we have to have conflict, right?
Glorious death in the battle ! but no wait lets run!
It is worth noting in the Horde version you see Baine helping Thrall walk away. He was clearly injured, even if not completely out of the fight.
Plus the Shaman questlines confirm that Thrall was losing his powers as a Shaman due to overwhelming guilt about how the Horde falls apart without him around to babysit them and the whole Garrosh thing.
That’s why he basically hands you Doomhammer and goes “here, you use this now”.
Warchiefs do not run, they fight until the last soldier of theirs is lost, just like our glorious King Varian Wrynn did.
And Varian died a punk. In yo face!
He could flee and let legion end the world, but he put his life for the safety of the Azeroth.
Yes, what a wonderful way to lead a people, send them all to their deaths in a hopeless battle.
“Victory or death” may be the translation of their battlecry, but it is exactly that: a battlecry. Not a rule. The Horde are no strangers to retreat from battle. They are not afraid to spend lives, but they do not waste them needlessly.
A lesson you could learn from, child.
You are traitor.
hord sympathizer.
Lol no, he died because he stood in fire like an idiot.
I wonder how much +Stamina he gave Gul’dan
Says the man who goes against the word of his King by calling for more war and bloodshed.
A treaty has been signed, boy. The war is over.
Oh really? what thrall did? gave hord to garrosh? fleed from his position how many times? oh wait your own warchief just called hord nothing and killed your high lord .
Tirion Fordring?
A disguise? What are you hiding?
spoilers: HMP
At least he doesn’t lose his memory and ends up in a slave pit. Or let’s a pair of black dragon siblings handle his finances and bankrupts his entire kingdom into a revolt we don’t talk about. Talk about stuuuuupid.
