Do you wait for your swing and then use saber slash/finisher?
Or do you just use it the second you have enough energy?
My parses are god awful and I have no idea why. Not that it matters but I just dont really understand lol.

I don’t think any regular rotational abilities rogues have reset their swing timer so you should be good to just use your abilities whenever you want.
If I’m wrong, rogues correct me.
Oh really wow no wonder lol.
I been effing up then good lord I thought they did reset.
You don’t have Sword Spec and if you did it would only be a 5% chance at most
Yeah that’s what it was.
Sword spec! Oh gotcha thank you.
Man, I am missing so much dps lol.
Your parses could be bad because of warriors not using battle shout, warriors not using sunder armor, not having a feral druid for wild strikes, or other things beyond your control
My name is Sohsuh on Crusader Strike Horde.
I can see my ability usage is WAY below the other rogue hahahaha.
Good lord.
I also forgot to put Saber Slash back on my bar after the first fight LOL. oh man.
Does wild strikes not also reset?
Hey these other people are morons! There is in fact a reason to cast abilities after MH swing and that’s because it can proc WF which DOES reset your swing! It’s a very minor DPS increase for crap top of effort though so feel free to not do this!
I see you have very high parses.
I have a few questions if you dont mind.
At the start of the fight, do you get 5 points before your first slice and dice, or do you pop it at 1 or 2 points to get it going?
Do you only use saber slash for the bleed, then use sinister strike?
How do you parse good on the Jett fight when youre switching targets constantly and losing combo points?
What do you do in short trash fights? Just saber slash and envenom? Is there any point to slice and dice during trash?
Thank you!
Windfury procs reset your swing timer so ideally you would cast spells just after you swing without wasting any energy.
If you’re looking to super parse brain you would want to stack 5combo points on a mob and get a full SnD with full energy before even starting the fight. If this isn’t doable then it honestly just depends on the fight. For instance baron and lady sever are so short a 5point SnD isn’t worth it. If you wanna figure this out I suggest looking at people around the top 100 in parses (not the folks at the very top) and looking through their casts in fights.
If you really want to min-max yes you do 3 saber slashes and then sin strike while upkeeping the bleed. Although I will say this is a very slight DPS increase and only matters to people competing for very very high parses.
Jett is a hard fight to parse. If you’re one of the sweaty freaks at the top you would have a healer pumping heals into you and you never swap to the lightning shield totem. If you’re a normal human you can just slow a bit, if your group is high DPS they will blast down the totem very quickly resulting in not too huge of a DPS loss. Honestly the biggest part for improving parse on this boss is probably on the mob run leading up to him. You really want to be hitting a mob non-stop during this phase. The caster ladies have very low armor compared to the huge mob that rends to prioritize hitting them. When a caster lady dies swap to the rending mob and hopefully your tank will pull it to the next caster lady so you can swap off.
In short trash fights just saber slash, you really aren’t gonna be the person crushing through aoe pulling mobs, honestly, so what you’re doing barely matters here.
No rogues just spam abilities. We arent warriors. Youll still do most of your damage in auto attacks.
