I can see the validity of your argument. However, you got the priority reversed. Yes, Vote kick system can be abused but it is used more correctly than not correctly IMO, like kicking the DCed people longer than 10 minutes in a raid or afkers. Yes, there are people who sometimes have unexpected emergencies in real life, like baby crying, but I think that’s like less than 5% of the time. 95% of the time, people just like to leave because they don’t like something. Everyone seems to have their own version of what a good Mythic+ run should be and if it’s not exactly that, they are like to leave.
Some expect the skipping and don’t mind wiping to save time while others want to do things normal with no tricks.
Some people don’t mind dying in Mythic+ if that means saving 10 minutes on the run, while others think that wiping on purpose is stupid. It’s like I even explain to them, as a tank I will be getting extra in the beginning so we can skip later but some people just don’t like dying to save time. Like that healer who was like to complain why I was getting those mobs and then didn’t wanna run across the bridge for skipping in Shrine of the storm. We had shaman in the group and the mob % was already enough with some finishing of eel killing after the last boss. But she thought it was stupid and we ended up arguing for like 5 minutes…Just so much randomness and so little patience in general.
Why couldn’t you do those before or after? 10 minute waiting for 4 people is like 40 minute waiting for one individual.
