Please play a dh into mage rogue see how that feels, mage rogue is toxic have some friends that are just sick of playing against that same cheese meta for a decade that unfortunately quit, arena is dying

I’m still not sure why the R/M complaints keep coming in because it’s literally almost ALWAYS been a viable comp in 2s and 3s, so if anything, people should have most of their experience being against this comp lol

I imagine it feels quite similar to playing a Rogue against a Warrior at the moment. DH really aren’t in a great place though, I hope they get some buffs as I’d like to play one as an alt.

DH is actually really good they just have almost no shot against rogue mage because they are so dead in the 2nd go.
I watched tren die solo to a rogue in an opener the other day through pre - blur and darkness proc. Keep in mind he’s the best DH in the world with BiS gear.
In 2’s rogues are generally an auto loss for DH considering how quickly they just get every button from you and you’re dead in the next go particularly when you add in the lack of a snare and how easy it is for rogues to just constantly get re stealths for free.

The only way I win is if they throw. Even then they can recover relatively easily and DH is very easily punished.

These are pretty cool guides. Just started playing 2s w/ a healer last week and as a hunter have an easy time against rm. I don’t stick to rogue and find it better to just swap to mage as BM because BM has decent sustained unlike MM where you only have goes every 1 min.
Can you link a guide for hunter/heals vs hybrid dps/healer or warrior/healer? Those are two comps I struggle with the most.
It is literally like an auto loss, if mage rogue loses vs dh they are just bad

I mean yes Rogue mage into DH in 2’s is 100% the formers game to lose.
Most frusrating is how hard some of them seem to try to throw and just can’t because Rogue mage.

Because old RMX required brain cells. Current RMX you can completely butcher the opener and still randomly one tap something with zero CC.

i mean rogue has been taking a sht on warrior the past 2 years in all aspects of the game, sad that rogues havent been able to handle a few months of this season
Honestly I’m kind of tired of this line of thinking.
Just because something was bad in the past doesn’t mean it should be broken now.
The game should be balanced. Because it should. This whole “We were bad for 2 years let us be broken” and vis versa is an incredibly childish way of looking at the game.
I mean breaking up Rogue mage openers hasn’t meant anything for a while. Subterfuge in BFA allowed rogues to lose stealth and still get openers and Dance is an even more forgiving mechanic in that sense.
Uh what? I see way more people complaining about Rogues than I see Rogues complaining about other classes or how they need a buff. It’s a meme at this point honestly, Paladin 100-0 someone in a split second “Nerf Rogues”.
