Food for thought - What's the link between Argus the Unmaker, Zovaal and the Primus?

Firstly this is following the concept that the Primus is actually the TRUE JAILER and he has been working very closely with Aman’thul and Eonar for a very long time.

What was it that the Primus (True Jailer) actually imprisoned and why? He was the key individual that enabled the imprisonment of Argus the Unmaker. The reason for this was to aid Aman’thul and Eonar in dealing with a force they struggled to contain and had no solution for it. That force is from DEATH and it’s DECAY, while this was around it prevented them from harnessing LIFE (SPIRIT) and using this a tool to Order everything.
To achieve ordering through the harnessing of LIFE they needed to deal with DECAY and one of key sources of Decay would be the Leader of the Death Pantheon who was able to harness the true strength of Decay but also the other side of SPIRIT (Anima or Souls).

So Aman’thul and Eonar enlisted the Primus to help them and between them they actually managed to imprison Argus but while they could significantly reduce his power and influence they couldn’t prevent the occasional transgression in which Decay slipped through in to their creation.

When Argus is summoned in Antorus take note that he starts appearing RED (ANIMA/SOUL/SHADOWLANDS) but then is being affected by the other Titans as he is turning BLUE (Being ORDERED/ARCANE). At no point in the encounter does Argus actually have ARCANE/LIGHT or TRUE LIFE Powers but he does have SOUL based abilities like SOULBOMBS etc. in addition to that we do see one key link to his true nature with the inclusion of a couple of abilities that are based on DECAY/DEATH - Withering Roots and Death Fog.
The key thing here is that Aman’thul says he is going to pull Argus out of his World Soul but that’s a lie he is actually working with the PRIMUS (THE TRUE JAILER) to release Argus from his imprisonment but ensure that he is contained so that he can get the mortals to deal with the Death Titan for them.
We also know that when Argus died the overflow or rush of ANIMA/SOUL energy that travelled through the Arbiter is what actually broke the Shadowlands. Why? We know that cosmic entities when they are killed their energy and life force is sent back to their home plane and for Argus that would be the REALM of DEATH. However, because Aman’thul. Eonar. The Primus and Winter Queen has created the Shadowlands once Decay/Argus was locked away and unable to stop them this formed a funnel which forced everything going to death to traverse Shadowlands and actually stop anything from being able to pass to the Realm of Death.

So what happened to Argus and his cosmic essence? We know that the PRIMUS had actually been to Zerath Mortis before but what if he had actually been there several times. The first time was to create the vessel and automation for the Arbiter and empower it with some of Argus’s stolen essence, the second time was to create a body that he engraved with Domination runes that would become Zovaal. Zovaal was bought to life with the energy that was released when Argus was killed to become nothing more that the PRIMUS’s dominated tool.

There is a lot more to back all this up as well… for example Why is Maldraxxos essentially a zone that is based on essentially DECAY. While all other Shadowland zones including the Maw are nothing like that and instead only have areas where there is incursions of Decay but Maldraxxos is an entire ZONE.
Secondly why didn’t the PRIMUS have the forces designed to protect the Shadowlands deal with the Incursion of light in to Revendreath? Obviously because he is working with Aman’thul and the forces of light, hence the incursion was effectively that of his Allies.

Too Long Didn’t Read - Argus the Unmaker was actually the true leader of the Eternals/ Pantheon of Death, The Primus is actually the true Jailer because he is is the one that imprisoned Argus and assisted Aman’thul in dealing with him. The Primus then created a vessel which he controlled completely in Zerath Mortis which was Zovaal (FAKE JAILER) all to enable more of his, Aman’thul and Eonar’s grand plans.

Clearly you are mistaken a discarded Road Map set up by Blizzard for what was released ingame.

The original plan for Blizzard was to have the Runecarver be the Jailer while having Akarek be the Primus but they scrapped the Plan and made the Primus into the Runecarver and instead made Arbiter Zovaal into the Jailer.

Zovaal was always intended to be the Arbiter who was imprisoned by the Runecarver for a very good reason but they decided to make him the Jailer(because they made the mistake of saying in interviews that the Jailer would be the Final Boss when they could have changed it) on top of that changing the Runecarver into the Primus so as to ensure Maldraxxus would still have an Eternal One leading it since Akarek is clearly dead.

I’m afraid that you are being delusional.
I mean… you are assuming things and not working with real data.

The Primus was never the Jailer. He working with aman’thul is new info that we are yet to understand a little better when more information is revelead. He as of now the ruler of Maldraxus and the creator of domination magic.
Argus was a titanic world soul thar SARGERAS found when he reached to the eredar and enlisted their forces to work as the heads of the legion. He used argus as a battery and nothing more.
The dreadlords over millenia infused argus with Death magic to bind him to the shadowlands without Sargeras Knowing this.
(At least for now we dont have confirmation if he knew or not, so we go with the “no”)
And this was a denathrius plan with the jailer to ensure death victory over the others cosmic forces.

So for me you are reading too much where there are none.

imagine trying to get your head around all this I doubt even blizzard knows

I think the Primus working with Aman’thul to master time and see every battle an infinite amount of time to master all forms of war and every possible scenario. That is fascinating and links Primus to the titans via Aman’thul. That doesn’t link the Primus directly with Argus, though the Dreadlords on behalf of Sargeras dominated Argus and turned him into the Death titan and used him as a means to breaking the cycle of the Shadowlands.

We don’t know though, but we can only guess. The Dreadlords likely messed with Argus unbeknownst to Sargeras and did so on behalf of Sire Denathrius and/or Zovaal.

We know Eonar and Elune were lovers and the Winter Queen is the sister of Elune, but that only are connections not conspiracies of the three and Eonar and Elune seem to be meddling with Azeroth for their own designs outside of Aman’thul’s vision for Azeroth.

We don’t know why, but it appears that the Primus may have been pulling the strings or setting up Zovaal as a trial scenario of what would happen if a being from the Pantheon of Death asserted or tried to dominate Azeroth and rewrite the universe, but that’s pure conjecture. We know the Primus’ dealings with Aman’thul will likely bring dividends to both the titans and the pantheon of Death.

We also have the void’s view on the matter - The Light has made an ally of the enemy of all. I suspect that the Light made a bargain with Order (Titans) to vanquish void and fel as well as subjugate Death in a way it works with Order/Light/Life against the other forces, but Death was unawares of the dealings or rather made so ordered that they could not counter it. Hence why Zovaal wanted to break the cycle and remake the universe unless there’s a 7th force. We know Death pantheon seems far too robotic and ordered for what should be or be expected for the Shadowlands, and the Primus is very suspicious, because of his alliance with Aman’thul.

Also don’t people think it’s weird the Primus is listed as a titan in Hearthstone. I wonder if that is suppose to be a hint of what is to come… who knows. I don’t think we know enough on any of this, beyond theories and conjecture which have very little evidence.

I know the story that we are told by what we know now as clearly ‘TITAN INFLUENCED’ sources that have misrepresented, changed, redacted or even lied to protect their own views on what is ordered and anything that has its story or background changed to suite the Titans. This means that the whole story that Argus was a World Soul inside a Planet that was populated by the Nathrezim/Dreadlords, who were supposedly infusing it with Dark Cosmic Forces. Along with how it was discovered and even potentially the information about the Nathrezim forces using Sargeros and tricking him into attacking the planet to deal with the Dark Titan that was inside.

However, as I said, and all of us know the Titan Pantheon does lie, manipulate and restructure what they want everyone to perceive as the truth purely to ensure that what is ‘known’ will suite their views and agenda to keep their ordered creation intact.

Knowing that it is very possible that what we have been told or made to believe wasn’t the case at all and instead the Nathrezim were siphoning DECAY from the Titan not infusing it at all. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that we have never come across a TITAN WORLD SOUL be we have come across Titans/Celestial Entities who are trapped or essentially IMPRISONED within a PLANET, so this more than likely means that in actual fact ARGUS was a containment/imprisonment system in much the same way Azeroth is. The reason the Nathrezim were siphoning instead of infusing would have been to diminish or weaken any access to the cosmic power of Decay and the influence over that power that someone like Argus might have had.

In addition to all of this if you look at the Nathrezim and how they interact with the other cosmic forces they actually siphon and absorb that energy into themselves and when they obtain enough, they are modified and their appearance changes to a Nathrezim of that cosmic essence. We have seen this with FEL, LIGHT and SHADOW(VOID) however, I don’t believe at any point have we seen a Nathrezim infusing a cosmic power as we are made to believe they were doing as part of the Titan story. IMHO the Nathrezim are a type of Cosmic Essence VAMPIRE they can siphon it and feed on it to imbue themselves with that Cosmic Power; they don’t funnel/channel or imbue others. However, they can use powers based on the essence they have imbued themselves with. Finally they are from Shadowlands themselves and actually have some aspect of DECAY/DEATH naturally just look at their various abilities we see - DRAIN LIFE & CARRION SWARM for example.

The likely reason the Nathrezim utilized and tricked Sargeros in to attacking the planet was IMHO an order or a plan that was hatched by Sire Denathrius when he discovered what had happened to Argus and was attempting to free him from his containment. However, this was likely anticipated by the Primus who had a backup plan in place in case something like this happened. I am not sure, but I think there is the possibility that the Primus was able to redirect Argus’s essence from the severed world soul (prison) and trap it within Torghast and prevent that essence from being reformed. This is the essence which Aman’thul taps in to and draws through into Antorus to reconstitute Argus for the Mortals to fight. It was likely that Sire Denathrius unknowingly or unwittingly became a pawn of some sort to the Primus which was manipulated and used to carry out the overarching grand plan of the Primus.

Anyway it’s just an idea/concept to think about and is purely because we are seeing more and more just how much the Titans have lied and changed things to suite their agendas only.

They’re missing a fourth hand for bridge.

I think someone has been listening to too many of Pyromancer’s unhinged lore theories on twitch lately

Pyromancer seems obsessed with claiming characters that we have already met and know the limits of are behind everything!

He has no vision to grasp any actual straws in the story.

My theories as insane as they are have a distinct focus on seeking out a thread and unravelling it while Pyromancer’s theories are rabid and mindless!

My theories focus on assuming the immediate story is tied to the Plot: Considering A Song of the Depths mentions a Hunger left to the Ages followed by a Dark Heart awaiting the taking and the coming awakening I strongly suspect that the Light Crystal in Hallowfall is at the center of the 5 Lanterns/Keys Plot as well as the statement that Night falling(which will end her Song which the Void considers to be their Song which sings beneath the surface) will show us her true face.

Il’gynoth mentions the Blind Queen so if anyone should be considered to be of importance it should be the Earthmother. Xal’atath having a Moon on her face suggests she is either Mu’sha(making Elune a Rival whose Acorn had been whispered into by Xal’atath and her consort Malorne as well as Ysera) or she is An’she which makes An’she a Moon Goddess not a Sun God.

They told us Grommash Hellscream was going to be the final boss of WoD and then we fought Archimonde at the end.
