Food for thought - weigh in

I would be curious if people weigh’d in today before launch (not lunch hah) and in 1 month later, weigh’d in again. Wonder what the difference would be, I think we need a government study on this one.

You mean like study the percentage of people who stuff themselves while gaming versus the percentage of people who don’t eat at all?

Horde vs alliance
Overeaters vs undereaters

I’ve been 93-94 kg for the last few years (6’4 lean muscle cardio machine).
I guarantee you that won’t change 6 weeks or 6 months from now, but i’m sure more than a few people will pack it on.

The key is to play so much WoW you don’t even have time to stuff your face with food.

You’re kind of short for a night elf.

And make sure you flail around alot while playing so you burn more calories.

You’d get more results with a 1 week weigh in. After my first 60, I’m going back to normal play.

You can also sneak in some exercise while on flight paths.

Good one, but same with addons in game, there are “feed bags” and I knew some people in my old guild that wore feed bags so they had their hands free to raid.

I’m probably going to be one of those that eat poorly now and drink lotsa booze. I can see myself adding 12 to 15lbs in 4 weeks. :frowning:

Do you mean weigh in like give our thoughts or actually measure our weight?

That way your body turns to a weak pathetic thing of skin and bone and you’re committed to keep playing since you can’t leave your chair. Good strat, but morbidly obese tends to eek out a few more years of survival with all the same benefits. Downside is aggressive bowel movements.

Hmm flight path exercise is a good idea except most of us will be too poor at first to afford them.

Heh, I might actually do this. I’ve fallen off the wagon lately (in my defense it’s winter and all I want to do is eat and hibernate ;-; ) so it might be motivation for me to get back to counting cals and working out more.

Ohh I know how about do pushups or jump rope so many times every time you die!!

belt out some push-ups in between flights, instances etc.

I do about 400 a week normally, in between work-outs and runs, and i’ll definitely be doing plenty when I can.

Another good exercise would be “planking”, I think if you could plank from thunder bluff to ogrimaar, you probably are in pretty good shape.

yeah I bet!
I stick to a select few exercises/weights, mainly upper body.
nothing calms the mind like a good, long run though, and I’ve had one today so I should sleep well…and that time has come.

My cook’s making me garlic naan bread with tomato cucumber onion salad in curds topped with szechuan sauce and popcorn seasoning.

Have captain Morgan spiced with lemon and diet coke on the side along with roasted peanuts.

I am SET for launch!

yum, morgan and dry roasted sea salt peanuts
