Late 2017 27" iMac Retina iMac, since the patch everything font-related is a mess. Tried changes listed throughout this forum with no effect. Any suggestions welcome.
Whenever I have blurry font, it’s a scaling issue. Setting the scale to 100% and then adjust my resolution fixes this.

It’s the Retina thing. Apparently WoW would set your game to the lowest resolution instead of the proper resolution. The client misreads your computer’s resolution because of the Retina display.
If you’re unsure what actual resolution your computer uses, look at its info panel, under “display.”
I play a MacBook with a Retina display, too, and had to re-adjust WoW’s resolution from 1000x700 (not exact numbers; I rounded them because I’m going by memory and posting on my phone) to like 2800x1900ish.
Makes a HUGE difference.
The scaling resolution bar only affects the world rendering, not the text. If you set it to 100%, your FPS drops. So feel free to play with the scaling.
So after playing around and trying the scale/resolution fix on my Warrior, I ended up frustrated and still having fuzzy fonts. Logged on to my little Fox Shaman, and lo-and-behold, no issues. Loaded warrior’s profile (in ElV) fuzzy fonts again. Loaded Fox, fonts ok. Underlying settings unchanged, so maybe it has something to do with ELV, dunno.

I dunno why it was picking some whacky res for me. It has never done that in 15years
