Why are things like Pandarian Sets still not back in game? They were from challenge modes. But now we have mythic + which is basically the harder verison of challenge mode why not put them back as a M+ rewards since its literally the same exact content but harder? Makes zero sense to leave them out.
And why arent pvp sets available from rated pvp still? Again zero sense to lock them out. PvP is still PVP.
As a business model its stupid. No one is gonna quit because you do this and if someone does they would be a very minute amount of people but the amount of people you’d gain into these content spaces because of these rewards would easily balance it out.
Legion mage tower weapons too… Just add them to the current mage tower. its HARDER than the legion version… Like legion version you could easily outgear and face roll them.
It makes plenty of sense but people that want things and they want them now don’t like the reason.
CM sets, KSM mounts, gladiator rewards, etc. are a reward for doing the content while it was current. It’s a handshake between the player and Blizzard. “Hey, you guys do this content now and we’ll give you a limited time reward.”
I agree, since Blizzard decided to bring back challenge mode titles (Faceless One), they can go ahead and bring everything else back too so we’re not playing this arbitrary and inconsistent pick-and-choose game.
You lose far more from people coming new seeing something and them realizing no matter what they do they can never get it. Its a stupid practice. Especially when the method to get the item is still in the game and even harder than when it originally came out.
The only way some of these will come back is if they’re recolors. Some people already have them all, and would have nothing to earn. Really the only compromise. New players can have their cool thing, and old players can have something new to collect too.
You know that won’t satisfy people. They HAVE to have everything everyone else has as it appears. recolors are just… let me see if I can channel my inner GD forum poster “lazy content”.
