Huge missed opportunity here for Blizzard, they totally should have made it so that our alts filled the slots, like their names, mogs, roles etc.

that would be abused to the max
example max out a tank enjoy the rewards as a new dps toon

While im not a huge fan of follower dungeons, i think it would be fun if youre able to choose your alts to fill the group.

My Feral as a melee dps
My shadow priest as my ranged dps
Whatever i want to play
My DK tanking
My paladin healing

How?

I’m not super well versed on this stuff, so correct me if I’m wrong… but aren’t these things just meant to be NPC’s that fill in dungeon roles instead of real people? How could it be exploited if you’re just having skins of your alts filling roles, it isn’t as if you can funnel loot around or anything :woman_shrugging:

Not even FFXIV has that, though they do allow you pick from a few different NPCs, maybe WoW will do something similar with NPC selection, that would be cool.

I think theyre just talking visually. The NPCs would.of couese take on the power set forth by what theyre coded for

FFXIV has squadron dungeons. You can mog(glamour) the npcs you bring. I did Xmas and Halloween costumes of course, and I was a Roe bunny.

I haven’t played for a good while so I don’t know where the feature has gone since then.

The trust system I’m referring to doesn’t allow mogging, the system you’re referring to is only for low level dungeons, i.e. below like 60.

Indeed. Trust system is a great idea but fell short for me. Had a blast in the MSQ for Shadowbringers…then had to do a trial. Never got to finish that story because of it.

This is what I am talking about. Blizzard got this idea from squadrons in FF14. With Squadrons you can glamor (transmog in wow) your NPCs and run basic dungeons with them.
