Where are you getting this from? Because I’ve never been able to jump to a new server and run more dungeons, nor does the support article say anything about this.
I don’t see how someone decides to do their solo play is such a problem. It impacts literally nobody else. If someone has a day off and wants to run dungeons with AI, what’s the problem? If they want to RP, collect screenshots, or pet battle it’s the same thing. Let them have fun without restricting them.
Because the Follower Dungeons take out a lot of the variables that running with other players do. The Follower Dungeons are, actually, extremely well programmed, especially if you put the NPC’s on Lead.
A botter could abuse the Follower Dungeons much more easily and readily then they could by trying to bot in a group with other players, so I don’t blame Blizzard at all for implementing some form of a safegaurd to try and curb that.
You’re having an entirely different conversation here.
I’m asking you what benefit is there that’s so impactful that you’re upset by this? They’re Normals. With gimped XP. So why does it matter if Blizz has this limit to see how things go?
Everything I have found so far there has only been 4 pre-set followers reveales for launch.
I want to be proven wrong so bad, I hate that they are doing this.
To make it worse, it’s so Alliance Centric, including the Tauren considering Baine is best friends with Anduin. Tauren are the most neutral Horde Race they could have plopped in there.
Blizzard relies on player reports to find bots, which would be hard to do if they are living inside of dungeons, being able to gain levels AND gold without a chance of being detected.
It’s worked like that for a long time now. Years at least. I don’t care what the support article says. It’s wrong.
For fun I just tried it again by running in and out of tot (resetting in between) until I got the instance cap message. Took all of three minutes. Switched to an alt on a different realm and walked right in. This is something you can easily verify yourself within 4 minutes if you want.
