It’s fine. A mage table is a mage table, doesn’t matter where or how.

Exploiting mechanics to cause a buff/debuff to not fall off as intended is an exploit, yes.

Mage food is generally not considered different from other non-buff food, other than being free. Healthstones are not the same as a healing potion for instance, they are a unique benefit Warlocks provide. That’s why they go away.

How dare you abandon your team after you use their mage food, you monstah! :rage: :anger:

Mage food is 1000% not the best actual mana drink, for one. You can literally buy better mana drink off of innkeepers and whatnot.

Actual food, dunno, but you’re not likely to care about the actual healing aspect.

That’s not an exploit.
There is no advantage over any other player in taking mage food.
The only thing that action shows is that mage food is better than the rest of the foods available, and that healers always need mage food. Perhaps this could prompt the devs to have similar food available at the entrance of the instance.

I think anybody that has to find a loophole needs to get good at the game.

This isn’t true… I routinely run M+ after Raid on Sat nights. We have several warlocks in Raid so I have healthstones. Those healthstones persist through my M+ runs later in the night until I: a) use them; or b) log off for 5 min or more.

Oh, we stretching before reset? Lemme see how far you can reach!

OP thinks there are still too many healers in the game, and healers should pay real money for food and water.

No your point is not valid.

It doesn’t matter where food comes from… you can buy it from an innkeeper before the run or a mage can conjure it “for free” if you have one in party; same effect, but you’re trying to argue that the mage food is somehow better by saving time. The majority of the party stopping to eat for even 10sec already kills any value from conjured or purchased food for all in the party with the lone exception of the Healer.

Some healers at high key levels are expected to go Out-of-Mana after stressing trash pulls. If it’s a coordinated group the tank and dps may engage the next pull while the healer sits to drink and top off their mana. Again, there’s no statistically significant advantage for using mage food or the mana water from an innkeeper.

My L80 mage has 2500K mana…
Conjured Mana buns restores mana to 100% in 20 sec = 125K/sec
Innkeeper food (Stone Soup, Chocolate Lava Cake, and Rocky Road) restores 3700K mana in 20 sec = 185K/sec

185K/sec for Innkeeper food is greater than 125K/sec for mage food, so your argument that mage food is an exploit (because it’s “better” and “requires a mage” so is against TOS unless there’s a mage in party) while not addressing Inkeeper food (which is clearly NOT an exploit as it’s available to all in-game) is completely invalid.

Reel your line in as you caught nothing this cast… Try some new bait and cast your troll pole again.
:fishing_pole_and_fish:

How much hp do you? Oh you don’t have more then 5mil HP, coming from someone who has 8.3mil HP as a dps and 10.8mil HP as a tank both unbuffed, Me having to eat at the end of a pull cause a healer is oom is still saving time and mana for the healer. Yes this does happen for instances. Especially when having a disc priest in your group which is a class struggles to heal when not having a enemy to generate larger heals. Not saying that there isn’t comparable or better foods in game, if you were really wanting to get into the nitty gritty of the best food in game for healers it would be the holiday fruitcake which gives 4.2 mil mana over 20, but still no food in game is as good as mage food currently for tanks for regaining HP as quickly. So, again reverting back to saving time in m+ its an advantage that is gained with out using a mage in group.

Right… So is buying food from a vendor that helps with gaining health and mana also an advantage to a M+ group without a mage as well? Is getting help from a Mage Friend who goes to do something else is also an advantage in M+ when don’t have a mage?

Well this just makes me no longer wanting to spend the few seconds to conjure a mage table on my mages. After all, wouldn’t want someone to ‘take advantage’ of it. Some people are never satisfied unless they remove all fun. Clearly Blizz is not removing enough fun according to this sorry individual.
