I dont raid a ton, so maybe im missing something obvious here. But I took conflict and strife essence into heroic raid today and my @focus macro for Reverse Harm on the tank wasnt working. I triple checked the macro for typos, and it works fine outside of raid. I can use the reverse harm ability on myself no problem but for whatever reason putting it into a macro wouldnt work. It doesnt recognize the ability at all. #showtooltip in the macro but the icon is a question mark. Does anybody know why or if there is a workaround? Its really annoying to manually target the tank to get the dps out of it.

but its like it wasnt recognizing Reverse Harm as an ability when I was in the raid. the macro works outside of raid. doesnt make sense.
This is going to sound degrading but I’m assuming you’re using the conflict and strife essence? and idk try just doing a normal cast @tankname, the only downside to my method is you’ll need 2 binds
Yeah I had the essence on for sure. I could use Reverse Harm on myself like normal but when the ability was in macro form it wouldnt work inside the raid. I was manually targeting the tank to cast it but obviously thats a pain in the ace. Once I left the raid, my @focus macro worked fine. I dont get it. I also tried making a @tankname macro during the raid and same result.
Wouldnt a cast on Target of target work better. Then you have it available when tank swap happens and dont have to think much of it.

I just use target of target RH because there are 2 tanks tanking and if you use it on the one who’s not taking damage at the time, it’s pretty worthless… unless you have 2 buttons, 1 with each tank’s name.
