How do I turn this off?

Please for the love of everything UX… make it GO AWAY.

I was just writing a post a to complain about it as well.

So… I might have found it. Go into options, search for tutorials, make sure it’s turned off.

EDIT: I LIED - this terrible UX is forced upon you.

It doesn’t seem to come back after hitting the “x”. But why MUST this be done on every single character?

I think it comes back frequently as I see it popping up again on my characters.

When you have no quests actively tracking, it will direct you to the Adventure Guide with another pop up.

The next time this idiotic spam dialog pops up, don’t immediately close it.

Type /framestack and hover over the stupid thing. A different popup will appear with a bunch of stuff in it. Leave the mouse there so that both popups are active, and take a screenshot (I think it’s still F12 these days).

Post that screenshot in the UI & Macros forum so we can maybe implement an addon to prevent this braindead popup from appearing. I’m hoping something to the effect of

WhateverTheNameOfTheCrapPopupFrame.Show = function() end

would do it, but trying to figure out what the frame name is without information…

A part of me is scared that I really do have to be told the same tip a few times over before it actually sinks in.

But I think I’d be willing to risk it.

Like this?

Yet again, a tutorial popup that is not controlled by the tutorial popup setting.

If a UI/UX team exists, why.

Yeah, is there an option to turn all of these pop ups off? I really have never needed them…

Yes!

I recognize just enough of the frame stack to know that this is part of the UI that I haven’t looked at in… ah, jeez… I won’t have a chance to try and play with it today, but thank you for getting that uploaded.
