Flying really does ruin wow

Which is still the longest time gate for ANY feature of wow.

And? There has to be a longest…

For a feature we used to get right at max level.

We’ve never flown while leveling. Ever. Only at max-level.

And what’s available at max-level? Dailies. So, the no flight argument is about making sure people can’t fly to their daily quests.

Apparently, because some people want to be able to see others on the ground while they do their dailies. Never mind that dailies are done on the ground where everyone can see everyone else anyways.

The whole no flight argument is so inconsequential it’s head-smacking.

And they saw an issue down the road with that, hence why they changed it. I can see why, but whatever I say, you obviously don’t care, cause for you, a company whose whole purpose is to make profits for its shareholders, is willingly doing arguably bad things just to spite on us.

Going against popular player opinion isn’t always the right choice. Even though Blizzard makes most of their decisions based on what players don’t want…

Blizzard has their whales that buy every single shop item and tokens so no they can stick it to the core player base with pretty much zero consequences.

Your opinion =/= the popular player opinion.

Let’s see…

Blizzard announces no flying going forward. Less than 3 weeks they reverse that decision. Why? Money. Players, in outrage, legitimately unsubbed in such numbers Blizzard was financially forced to reverse that decision.

Fast forward to the most recent BlizzCon. When PF was announced for SL the vast majority of people, mind you these people PAID a lot of money to be there, BOOED Ion.

It’s not only MY opinion. It’s the popular opinion.

Well there’s only one way to make yourself heard then, if words don’t work. Subbing once flying is obtainable just tells them it’s okay cause you end up coming back regardless.

Preordering the expansion and paying several months tells them it’s ok that flying isn’t there right at max level. Either way they’ll get the expansion money but at least not the several months of sub money while the game isn’t fun. I get to play other great games during the time I don’t play. Literally a win-win for me.

Well shucks, because of everyone playing right now, me included, pathfinder is never going away. So you’re complaining for nothing.

You’re right, wow NEVER changes. Nothing ever changes with wow. Not sure what I was thinking there…

Good, finally we agree on something.

People are so overrated. I LOVE flying. I like cliff diving on my druid and soaring over the landscapes. The art is so pretty from above.

Not very good at sarcasm I see. Noted.

Not familiar with r/wooosh I see.

So basically the same thing I said to you? Is this your way of saying “right back at you”?

In an interview yesterday, the devs stated that Pathfinder requirements will be reduced this expansion. It won’t be tied to a series of reputation grinds (thank goodness). Instead it will be tied to your achieving a level of renown with your Covenant. And that it will available with the first content patch (thank goodness).

Times do indeed change.

Oh he’s been told. But he won’t stop until he has it day 1 of the expansion, at level 1.

You can keep walking and problem solved. If you don’t like to fly don’t do it. Let the rest of the people fly to do things faster. Also if you don’t see another characters, maybe because you are in a low pop server. I never have a problem to find another folks in the world while I was flying.
