I see people in the world again, when flying comes out the world becomes empty.
I fight the alliance in huge wars, no pvp with flying
people fight together to get to quests, with flying the game becomes solo because you dont need anyone to get anywhere. A ‘mmo’ that is a solo game eye roll
I’m immersed in the world, with flying people just skip every mob, player, and terrain.
Navigating the map actually requires a brain stem, instead of going up and straight.
Classic and pre pathfinder has proven wow is meant to be played from the ground.
That’s why almost all mmos are no flying.
Flying is basically an instant teleport that makes you invincible aka god mode.
And before you say it, no just using ground mounts as everyone else skips the game does not solve anything. ( I don’t ever fly even after .2 patch )
The world is still dead and empty whether I fly or not.
Edit: flag my post all you want pro flyers, it just proves you have no real argument other than you want to skip the game you pay for
you rage play wow and that’s hilarious to normal people

although i hate not being able to mount in the maw.

Until you complete the main story I agree. After that the game changes to things like collecting rare achievements, doing dailies, gathering mats, etc and flying improves things there.

We are very much far past the idea of removing flying. Blame TBC for that.
Still, I agree flying needs more dangers. The worms in the nzoth invasion zones come to mind. Or flying too close to an enemy town and archers with vanilla AV range start going ham on you.

I think flying should be unlocked near the end of a expansion.

Yeah, the only time flying worked was in BC where the zones were huge. Flying would make sense if the mounts didnt acts like super VTOLS.

Funny how all these non flyers just type out posts which are basically “Please force them into having fun the way I like because no one likes my idea of staying on ground”

No it doesn’t. You see people around on the ground doing quests and objectives when the world is active and fun and full of things to do. It’s been this way since flying was introduced in TBC. They can’t do combat in the air.

Time to see how many people come in and tell this guy ‘if he doesn’t like it, quit’ or ‘stop crying’

What’s really funny is how you want to completely break the game because of a need to be in god mode and save 2 minutes. Let’s me guess you pay for wow even tho you hate it and think it’s ‘tedious’

And you have a problem because?

no it doesn’t and nope and then no again

Keep it removed for good.

Yeah its been breaking the game much to the delight of its fans for a very LONG time. Maybe its not breaking the game? Flight is optional, you have no flight mounts, use those, who cares if others fly, theyve been doing it since this game started basically.

a) Flying in Vanilla was so unthinkable that cities weren’t even 3D; Stormwind, for one, was just a series of tunnels with flat panels overhead trying to fool you into thinking there was a sky.
b) Obviously you didn’t go to Icecrown to fight the bosses because that pre-Pathfinder zone was COMPLETELY designed with flight in mind. I joked that there was a 20 minute timer between bosses to give the anti-flight crowd time to ride their ponies from boss to boss…and yet there were still many I’m sure they could never reach.

It’s not ‘God Mode’. Good grief. The ability to fly doesn’t make combat easier, doesn’t complete quests or kill mobs for you. You still have to do whatever it is you’re flying to, just like anyone else. If you don’t like flying, don’t.

Tf outta here with that crap. People don’t speak just as when we have flying and you don’t see them. Dumb post 3/10 for trolling
